Maison Wally ist eine geräumige und moderne 120 m² große Wohnung, die ihre Gäste in einer Atmosphäre von Komfort und Raffinesse nur wenige Meter vom Zentrum von Sorrento empfängt. Vom großen und lichtdurchfluteten Wohnzimmer aus gelangt man in den bezaubernden Außenbereich, einen privaten Garten mit Whirlpool und Grill.



Die Wohnung verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Badezimmer mit Dusche, Waschmaschine, Haartrockner und Bügeleisen. Die Küche, ausgestattet mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, verfügt über einen Induktionsherd, Kühlschrank, Geschirrspüler, Gefrierschrank, Wasserkocher, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Fernseher, Zitruspresse und Toaster.

Wonderful place to stay

We enjoyed our stay in Sorrento at the Maison Wally. The hot tub was a plus! The place was clean and very spacious for a family of 5. It is on a pretty steep hill to walk into town but a short walk.

The house was good and comfortable. We all just felt the landscaping could have been more taken care of. Bushes trimmed, weeds pulled, and the grass/weeds in the concrete could have been maintained. The toilets in the bathroom would splash really bad when flushed. We kept a towel on the floor for that. Check in was great!! Our host was always available and super kind.

Superb Sorrento Stay!

Amedeo was punctual and informative at check in. He remained available by phone throughout our stay. Amedeo was extremely helpful at checkout to book us a ride to Naples when local Sorrento trains were shut down due to a local cable car disaster. Location was fantastic for fresh groceries and tasty meals. Home was as presented in photos. Clean and classy.

Great location for us!

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment! It’s a bit of a walk back and forth into town but we didn’t mind it at all and much prefer it rather than stay in the more touristy area. There are restaurants close by or if you prefer to stay in and use the hot tub and relax, the kitchen is stocked well. The apartment was clean and welcoming. The first night it was our full family of 5 and there was more than enough space. We would definitely return here if we are able to come back to beautiful Sorrento!

Our Stay

Overall the apt was what it was described. While the location is a short walk from town, it is a hike down and back up a very steep and winding road without sidewalks. Certainly challenging for us. While the interior was clean and spacious, the exterior was overgrown and unkempt. Luckily there was a patio area to use when sitting outside early mornings and in the evening after a long day.

Comfortable Spot in Sorrento

This is a large & comfortable apartment in a good location for visiting Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. It’s a little out of the maw of tourists that is the center of Sorrento but close enough that you can walk easily (a little uphill!). There are good supermarkets close by and a fine kitchen so that you can take a break from restaurants. We also used the services of the management company for drivers, etc. and they were uniformly good.

Awesome location and plenty of space

Walkable to downtown and many neighborhood spots. Check in guys were super friendly and made us feel welcome. We had a secure place in the parking garage for our vehicle and the patio is really nice, including the hot tub. Our stay was during the beginning of August so had a little problem with ants, so we just had to spray and clean ourselves which was the reason for 4 stars on cleanliness. Otherwise, everything was great.

The 3C’s

Clean, Comfortable, Convenient! Our family of 6 adored staying here. From the earliest communication the host was responsive and helpful, all the way through meeting us at the property and answering questions while we were there. It was super clean and had everything we could need. We loved the short walk into town and how easy it was to access everything. Day trips were great- Path of the Gods, Pompeii, and a paddle board excursion with Cliff jumping. All amazing, and the hot tub at the end of the day was lovely.

Lovely apartment, great location, could have been cleaner

Really nice roomy apartment with a great location. Comms with the agent were very poor. The apartment sleeps six but make you pay $40 per person per day over 4 people. We booked as we really wanted a hot tub, which hadn’t been cleaned ahead of our stay and was not as described. Could have been cleaner.

The property itself was lovely. Great location - walking distance to the bustle of Sorrento but not in the center of it.The lower rating is not because of the property itself, but the level of service from the hosts. When we expressed interest in booking a service (such as taxi, etc). the host was very responsive. When we requested assistance outside of booking things, the level of support was lacking. Two examples:1). During our stay, the burners on the stovetop malfunctioned. The burners were sparking when the knob was in the 'off' position. There was also a persistent 'click, click, click' sound. We contacted the host who responded the issue would resolve itself and let the stovetop dry out. There was never moisture. For two days the burners sparked and clicked. Fortunately, we were able to figure out how to turn the breaker off. After two days the sparking/clicking stopped. Our experience was that the host was not responsive to our concerns about the sparking burners and possible gas leaks. 2). Upon arrival, the airline misplaced one of our bags. The host was helpful in booking a taxi to return to the airport to retrieve the bag. I requested a receipt to attempt reimbursement from the airline. During check-in, the Estate4Home representative said they would provide me this receipt. After several follow-up attempts, they still have not provided it. My issue is that they told me in-person and in-writing they would provide me with requested documentation and have not.

We chose Maison Wally for the hot tub and that did not disappoint! Each person gets one towel, one hair towel, and a washcloth which was not enough for the hot tub use, plus a curbless shower which doesn’t do a great job of keeping the water in. We did get more upon request but our stay would have been much better with more towels. One of the bedroom lights was out and the bedside lamps are for decoration only so one bedroom was in the dark and we would have also appreciated functioning lights. The kitchen had minimal utensils and equipment and cooking was difficult but the espresso machine was great. We loved the location, with a little distance from the touristy areas of sorrento. There are no blackout shades and bright lights outside the window. The host was responsive and easy to contact.
