We had a great stay at this flat in Mayfair, one block south of Oxford Street. The location is excellent—easy access to shopping (including Marks & Spencer grocery store), Marylebone, and a short walk to Hyde Park.The two-bedroom unit spans two floors above a small convenience store. The kitchen is small but functional, with a large fridge/freezer. Note there’s no dryer—just a heated towel rack, which made laundry a bit of a hassle if not expected in a European flat.The living/dining area is comfortable, with a big TV, good seating, and a table for six. There’s a bathroom on the first floor. Upstairs, the larger bedroom (street-facing) has three singles and a queen—me, my wife, and 3 kids all stayed in that room which was fun. The second bedroom (rear-facing) has a queen and a single.A highlight was The Marlborough Pub on the corner—classic vibe and great pizza.Booking was easy and the owner very responsive and flexible. Downsides: some street noise from the pub and occasional late-night cars, plus construction during our stay. It usually quieted down by 11pm, and we slept fine. The wall-to-wall carpeting wasn’t ideal, but overall this is a great spot in an unbeatable location.Overall I definitely would recommend it.
