Maison Dix has two elegant, charming guests rooms in Tusson.

Located in Tusson, surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards in the Charente valley, we live in a historic building of over 240 years, just 40 minutes from Cognac. Maison Dix Tusson is a newly renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and a shared lounge. Guests can benefit from a terrace to enjoy outside dining and drinks, with free onsite private parking.

Bedroom 1 - First floor - Sleeps 2 maximum - this room has high beams to the ceiling.
Situated on the first floor this room has a traditional French double bed, an ensuite bathroom comprising of a toilet, wash basin and large walk-in shower (90cm x 120cm) and heated towel rail. Blackout curtains will ensure a great night's sleep.

Room 2 - Second floor - Sleeps 2 maximum - this has characterful low beams above the bed.
Situated on the second floor this room has a modern shaker style double bed, an ensuite bathroom comprising of a toilet, wash basin and generously sized glass shower cubicle (90cm x 90cm) and heated towel rail.

Both bedrooms have hotel quality mattresses with mattress and pillow protectors for your comfort and cleanliness, with 100% cotton quality bedding.

Towels, toiletries (hand gel, shower gel and shampoo) and bathrobes are provided to use during your stay. In your room you will find a hairdryer and a selection of complimentary biscuits, teas and coffees (Nespresso machine).

A continental breakfast can be enjoyed either in the main kitchen/dining room or in the courtyard terrace (weather permitting), consisting of freshly baked pastries,a selection of fruit juices, tea and coffee, cereal and yoghurts.

Breakfast is served between 7am - 9am.

We will make breakfast to suit you, when you are ready, just tell us the night before so we can plan.

We have a hot tub, but please note this is not available all year round, 1st June to 1st September only. We cannot heat it all of the time, as this would be uneconomical, so we will do this on the day of your arrival. Please make us aware when you make your booking, or give us at least 48 hours notice if you would like to use it during your stay.

We accept small dogs (strictly by prior arrangement) if they are friendly and get on with other dogs. Pets are allowed only by prior arrangement as we have two (very friendly) dogs ourselves, a cocker spaniel and a beagle. This is available at no extra charge, however we do reserve the right to charge €40 cleaning fee should your pet make a mess on the carpet or rugs.

There are restaurants in nearby villages to dine in with a reservation (seasonal opening times apply). There is an excellent french restaurant in the village, Le Compostelle (reservation essential), there is also a pizza takeaway (which opens Thursday to Sunday only) and we would be happy to email you a menu if you would like to order your pizza ahead of time for your arrival.
