The house is clean and cozy. The screened porches overlooking the water are amazing. We spent most of our time out there. Close to everything in the village as well. Our host is wonderful and very responsive for every question and text. If you are looking for a place to relax and take in the views in Lake George this is your next vacation spot!!

Excellent Weekend Getaway

Great location. Our kids enjoyed catching fish off the dock. Wonderful views of the bay. Close to the main streets around Lake George.

Relaxation Central

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Relaxation Central. The host was attentive, the house was clean and featured amenities not typically offered. We strongly recommend and would absolutely stay there again.

I do try to provide additional amenities so I hope your family got to enjoy the kayaks and the floats and tubes down on the dock and in the water. I rented for many years on the lake and was used to bringing my own sheets, comforters and towels so I like to provide those for my guests when possible. It makes packing a little lighter. I like to be helpful but not intrusive so I'm glad you appreciated that. Please come back and visit us again at Relaxation Central. Fall is beautiful in the Adirondacks and on the lake! Beautiful lakefront house

Staying in this beautiful lakefront house in Dunhams Bay- Lake George was awesome! The house was fully stocked with everything you could need including firewood. Kim was a great host. It was great to witness beautiful sunsets every night of our stay. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent Lake George Family Waterfront Retreat!

Our stay was awesome at Relaxation Central! Being on the water on Lake George was so fun for the whole family! The swimming and kayaking was a blast. Perfect in every way!

Location is perfect: on the water on a no-wake bay with an ideal view of the sunset from the porch. The house itself is perfect: roomy, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could want for a relaxing vacation. And Kim is the perfect host: always ready to answer any of your questions. Beautiful view!

Kim the owner of the home was so nice and Very accommodating and available any time if we needed to talk, ask questions or needed something. Very nice, beds were so comfy, the most beautiful relaxing view. Loved the double porches and sliding glass doors upstairs and downstairs. We had 3 children with us and they had an amazing time fishing, swimming and kayaking on the lake!

Great house, great location

The house is cozy and well equipped (including new and useful pots/pans etc - so many rentals are really lacking in the kitchen department but not this one!) Beautiful lake views. Awesome fireplace with ample wood. Kim was very responsive, friendly and easy to work with. We had a great winter visit - the frozen lake is quiet and beautiful!

Everything about the house was wonderful. Kim was amazing and checked in both before and during our stay, making sure there were no questions/concerns. Great location! Just miles from the Lake George strip if you wanted to go out, quiet and beautiful if you didn’t want to leave the house. We had a family member who didn’t leave the house the whole time and we had kids who were able to spend time with us, and find places to get away from us - everyone enjoyed the trip.That porch is heaven on earth - you could simply watch the water for hours - true relaxation!Kim was even kind enough to mail a sweatshirt that had been left behind.

Lake George Vacation

We loved the house and location. The view from the screened in decks is gorgeous. Everything was well maintained and clean. Plenty of life jackets and floaties for the lake and swimming off the dock was a blessing because it was in the 90s the week we were there. We had a great time with our children and grandchildren. I would have no problem recommending this property to friends and family.

The photographs on website do not do this authentic Lake George home justice. It is far more beautiful and functional in person. It accommodated our extended family with ease. The best of Lake George!

We could not be happier with Kim’s beautiful home right on Lake George—it truly is the quintessential Lake George experience! We’re officially spoiled and can’t imagine staying anywhere else in the area. The dock with its lounge chairs and umbrella quickly became our favorite spot, especially during the heat wave—we were in the water almost the entire time!The house itself is lovely and comfortable, and we especially loved the two porches, perfect for soaking in those stunning lake views. My husband and I particularly enjoyed the upstairs porch by the bedrooms, where we started each day with a quiet coffee and sunrise over the water.We’re already dreaming of coming back. Although my Favorite is still the main porch where all the happenings take place, the upstairs porch often gets overlooked, and it is a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee. Sometimes its nice to steal away from the activity and take a few minutes to read a good book or watch the comings and goings of the birds and the ducks on the lake! Family Wedding

We were a group of 6 adults and 2 children (ages 3-5). Wedding was just up the road. Great location, plenty of off road parking and spectacular views of the lake. The older section had toys the kids LOVED!! We had a social gathering after the wedding! Plenty of room and the kitchen was very well supplied. Kim (the owner) was responsive and helpful. Loved the waterfront and dock!! Thank you Kim!!

Perfect Getaway

Relaxation Central is a beautiful place to stay!! We’ve stayed at a number of VRBO rentals and this home had it all! We loved every minute on the dock and had more than enough room inside on the one day it rained! The owner is wonderful to work with. It’s only a few miles from the village if you need, but being in Dunham’s Bay takes you away from the bustle. It’s close to hike Buck Mountain ( it’s an awesome view up too!) and just down the road from Cleverdale ( a small store/deli). Also close to bike/running/walking path! We would highly recommend this property-we’re hoping to get back!! It’s really hard to leave!

Hi Sue, I'm so glad you enjoyed your time at Relaxation Central and you loved Lake George. It is a beautiful lake & one of the cleanest in the country. it's nice to be in low wake zone so the swimming is a little calmer than it can be on the main lake. You had some good weather so I know you got some great sunsets off the dock and porch! It is a great area being alittle out of the hustle and bustle of town but only 10 minutes away as well. It's nice to have Cleverdale Store which makes a great breakfast and has some really good prepared food as well. Thank you for leaving the house is such great condition - I really appreciate that in a guest. Enjoy the rest of your summer! It's beautiful in the Adirondacks in the fall as well! Lakefront Oasis

This is a beautiful home right on Lake George. We went in the off-season (April) but the location is close enough to everything but a far away for some tranquility. House has a dock right on the water. Screened in porches outside the bedrooms and main floor. Great to eat/hang out/sit & read. Plenty of room for a family gathering. We didn't use the whole house. TVs allow you to watch your own Netflix, Amazon, DisneyPlus, etc. I would gladly recommend or stay here again. Kim is a great host!

Wonderful Stay at Lake George

This place is absolutely fantastic. The pictures on this site (at least as of the writing of this post) do not do justice ... The screened in porches are great. West facing views means great sunset views. Kim is very attentive, without being intrusive. The house is well-equipped, and beds are comfortable. Towels and clean sheets are provided; towels need to be laundered by guests pre-checkout. Kitchen is clean and well-equipped. WiFi and Amazon Alexa work well. Guaranteed to be a fun time!

Darshan, I'm so glad your family enjoyed your vacation! It was great to get to meet you as well. The porches are great aren't they? Great views and very relaxing! Its nice that the house is located in a low wake zone which makes it nice for boating, swimming and fishing. Sounds like you some time to take advantage of the new dock as well. Relaxation Central ++

Truly one of the best vacations we ever had. The porch anytime of the day melted any bit of stress away. Kim was so easy to reach and extremely helpful. Pictures and words don't say enough. You don't need anything the house has it all. Being in Dunham's bay and not having our boat get rocked with the slow speed no wake made my husband very happy. Kim thank you for giving us exactly what we needed :)
