Al Borgo Orefici Apartment by Wonderful Italy
Lovely apartment in Borgo degli Orefici, the art district of silversmiths and goldsmiths, close to Corso Umberto, the Port and the main tourist attractions.
The apartment is on the third floor of a small building without elevator and has been recently redecorated. The entrance opens onto the living area, equipped with a double sofa bed, a television and a dining table. In the same room is the open-plan kitchen with an induction hob and a kettle. The sleeping area has a bedroom with two single beds and a closet. A bathroom with shower completes the layout.
Wi-Fi, washing machine, heating with heat pump and air conditioning in the living room will be available to guests.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
"When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave," they say. Naples is a unique city to be experienced by walking through the alleys, smelling the aroma of gastronomic delicacies in the air, and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage.
Naples is the origin of a distinctive culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
As you stroll through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, you pass through its thousand-year history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Duomo di Napoli and the Maschio Angioino. If there is a symbolic place in Naples, this is Piazza del Plebiscito, now a symbol of the new "Neapolitan Renaissance" where tourists come to admire its grandeur and two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace. Today it is also possible to visit "the underground city," or the so-called "belly of Naples," which served as a shelter for Neapolitans during the bombing raids, where tourists can walk through the Greco-Roman aqueduct, air-raid shelters, and finally visit the War Museum.
Especially not to be missed is the San Severo Chapel, which houses the sculpture of the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious works to be seen in Naples, the result of the talent of Giuseppe Sanmartino.
Naples Central Station is 1.5 km from the accommodation, while the airport can be reached in less than 30 minutes by car.
