Situated on the Isle of Thanet overlooking the North Sea, Margate boasts beautiful sandy beaches and a long pier for leisurely walks and fishing. Margate rail station is a short walk from Westbrook Road with regular routes to London, Canterbury and Ashford.
The nearby towns of Dover and Whitstable can be reached via car under 50 minutes so Kent can be explored easily. The popular city of Canterbury can be reached in 45 minutes and the beautiful town of Broadstairs is a short 10-minute drive away too!
If you’re looking to explore via bus during your stay, Margate is serviced by ‘The Loop’. This runs every day and connects Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate.
