Charming Romantic Home With Large Garden & Pool
LA CROIX DES FORGES is a delightful and charming stone house in a small village overlooking the Dordogne, in the heart of the Golden Triangle of the Perigord. It is recently renovated and offers a bright living room, fully fitted kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 newly fitted bathrooms.
Outside, you will enjoy its huge 7000mÂČ garden, private 12x6m swimming pool with electric shutter, sunbeds and parasols, 2 terrace areas with lounge and dining table. Ofcourse there is a bbq and gated parking area.
The house has recently undergone a complete renovation and combines stone walls, exposed cathedral ceilings with a contemporary and modern update. With its light and bright living-room, fully fitted kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 newly fitted bathrooms, huge garden, two terraced areas, and lovely pool, it is the perfect place for two couples or for a small family to hideaway.
INDOOR DESCRIPTION:

From the front side perron, you access the light and bright living-room. Its cosy sitting room offers 2 large sofas, an armchair and two coffee tables. Another two comfortable armchairs are set around the wood burner fitted in the superb stone fireplace.
The formal dining area has a modern table, 6 chairs and a dresser. The adjacent country style kitchen is ideally equipped for cooking with a large range of crockery, utensils, pans, pots and all the electrical appliances you can imagine. Its glazed door leads to the upper terrrace and garden.
From the living-room, the wooden staircase leads to the first floor where you will find :
* a twin bedroom with two single beds, two bedside tables and lamps, and a
build in wardrobe.
* the master bedroom is interconnected. It has a large 160cmx200cm bed,
two bedside tables and lamps, a built in wardrobe and a mobile AC unit
ideal for those hot days and nights.
* On the opposite side of the landing is the newly renovated bathroom with
old fashioned style bathtub and curtains, washbasin and toilet.
The third bedroom is set on the lower floor and can be reached from the
outside. It also offers a large double bed 160cmx200cm, bedside tables, a
chest with drawers and a wardrobe. This room remains very cool during the
summer. It enjoys a superb newly fitted ensuite shower room with shower-unit, washbasin and toilet.
There is a laundry room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board and sink, available in the basement.
A babybed and high chair are available upon request, without additional charge.
OUTDOOR DESCRIPTION:

The huge mature garden of more than 7.000mÂČ, offers grassy areas and old-age trees. The garden is full of flowers and there are several fruit trees; feel free to pick your own fruit!
The roofed terrace which overlooks the garden is furnished with comfortable outdoor lounge for you to relax in.
There is a large outdoor dining table and chairs and a gas grill to dine outside al fresco.
The magnificent 6mx12m swimming pool overlooking the valley below, is just perfect for relaxing afternoons. It enjoys sun loungers, parasols and an electric cover to prevent children falling in and keeping the heat at night.
A tennis-table is available for entertainment.
You can park up to 3 cars at the entrance of the property. There is a 22Kw charging station for electric cars.
