Kajakfahren und Angeln im nahe gelegenen Ferry Landing Park. Smart-TVs (ROKU) in beiden Wohnzimmern und allen fünf Schlafzimmern mit 1 Gigabyte Ultra-High-Speed-WLAN. Excellent. It would be nice to have an elevator. My husband and I are in our eighties and it was rough climbing the stairs. lol!! Well furnished, everything we needed.

Beautiful House

This was the perfect house for our family. Our son, daughter-in-law, and children had the whole lower floor to themselves, with my husband and me upstairs. A wonderful location right at the ocean was so convenient for my husband to surf fish and for us to enjoy the beach with the grandkids. The house was very nice and clean; the photos don't do it justice! We encountered no issues whatsoever. A great place to stay!

Lovely home!!

I was very impressed with this home! The layout (two living rooms, basically) was perfect for everybody to be able to unwind. The home was really spacious and clean. There was plenty of parking under the home for all of our vehicles (including my Harley and trailer). The communication with the homeowner was very professional and timely. The weather didn’t cooperate at all while we were there, so we were in the house quite a bit more than usual on vacation. This home made the best of it and I will definitely stay here again if it’s available on our next trip!!

This is a beautiful home located near the west end of the island. The beach was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the mat beach access area. It was so much easier to bring the wagon & beach gear. This home is immaculate with plenty to space for our family.The kitchen is well equipped with anything you may need. Beware, the coffeee pot is NOT auto shutoff so make sure it's off. For the price and quality of families renting the only thing was the lacking of quality of decor in the home and lack of outdoor seating. There were only 4 rockers on the first floor and 3 chairs on the 1st floor. There was no comfy seating for morning coffee or ocean breezes. A hammock would have been great for afternoon naps as there was plenty of room to have one.The Host was most approachable and ready to help with any questions. He did have 3 additional rockers from Home Depot delivered for our family of 12. A few upgrades would make this a 5 star home!

Our vacation was amazing and a big part of the reason was the fact that this home was everything we could ask for! Great location, awesome views, plenty of space, comfortable beds and furniture, and CLEAN! We did not have any issues so no reason to bother our host but he was very informative and communicated all instructions from check in to check out. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

This house was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed having lots of room to spread out. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the decks in the rockers. The short walk to the beach was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

The house and location could not have been any better. Absolutely beautiful house and extra clean! Everything you need is there. If you stay here, you won’t be disappointed!! Directions for the TV’s were in every room and the check in and out process was clear. I would most definitely stay here again!!

We had the best week!

We’ve been coming to OIB for 33+ years and this was one of the best weeks we’ve ever had! Dan was super available for any questions I had leading up to our trip, the home was VERY clean and comfortable, and the check in/out process was so simple. My favorite part of the house was the extra large deck and kitchen! Plenty of space to congregate with family at the end of a Long Beach day. We will definitely be booking this home again!

A Family Vacation to Remember

Our family gathered at OIB to celebrate a graduation, a 50th wedding anniversary, several birthdays, and the announcement of a new baby. This home was perfect for us! Our oldest family member is 72 -- the youngest is 3... and we were all comfortable! We found ample room to play cards, share stories, prepare dinner every evening, and lounge. We loved the access to televisions and Netflix, as well as the easy access to the glorious beach. We spent much time on the porches and on the bicycles. The house was so clean, the instructions were clear, and we wanted for nothing. We hope to stay again soon.

Perfect Property in a Perfect Location with a great host!

Wow we can not say enough about this property. Dan was a wonderful host and was quick to respond with any questions which makes the vacation that much more enjoyable. The property is just as described in the listing. It was perfect for a larger group offering individual bedrooms and bathrooms for each couple. We had a short walk to the beach. The location of the home is on an area of the beach that is less crowded then other areas of OIB. Even on Labor Day we found a large open are for our group on the beach. The property was clean, lots of open space for our group to play games and enjoy fellowship. The porch is a perfect place to wake up have coffee and enjoy some great conversations. The home had extra amenities that were available for our group to use which was a pleasant surprise. Thank you Dan for the flexibility and taking such good care of us!

Beautiful new home on the quiet end of OIB

We really enjoyed this house in OIB. There are nice views of the ocean (especially for a home located across the road from the beach). There was very little traffic on this end of the island... which was what our group with small children were looking for. The home is new and in great condition. The owner provides two kayaks and four beach cruiser bikes for use by the tenants... which was great. The noise on the second floor from people walking around on the 3rd floor was essentially non-existent... the floors must be insulated very well. This was a substantial upgrade over the places we have stayed the past few years. Public beach access is only a half block away and a super easy walk... even with children and a ton of beach gear! =) Communication with the owner was excellent! (the best we've encountered to date) We will look to rent this home again the next time we head to OIB.

I wanted to move into this house forever!

Everything about this house is designed for maximum guest satisfaction. We loved that the bedrooms have multiple beds, and each has its own bathroom. It was great having a 1/2 bath off the main living area, especially for those staying downstairs. There is a LOT of bar seating which was perfect for putting the kids at the bar and having an adults table. Every room has a tv with its own roku! We were concerned about being able to watch The Masters, but it turns out that they subscribe to youtube for your live tv needs. The walls facing the ocean are covered with windows, so you have TONS of great ocean views. We loved the light, airy feel of this house and the cool, calm paint colors. Don't go barefoot on the deck. Several in our group got some doozy splinters! We did a lot of cooking over Easter/spring break, and the kitchen mostly had everything we needed. Could use twice as much silverware and an electric hand mixer. Also more large serving/mixing bowls and platters. Every single thing in this house is in perfect, working order. We did not have to spend any of our vacation calling to have someone else's house fixed, like so many times in the past. Thanks for sharing your beautiful house with us!

We have visited dozens of beaches along the East and West Coasts of the US and fell in love with Ocean Isle Beach and decided to build our dream beach home here.

The east end of Ocean Isle Beach is our favorite. It is never crowded, has access to the widest beach in OIB along the Shallotte Inlet and has easy access to launch kayaks at Ferry Landing Park. The sunrises from the kitchen / dining room, decks, and master bedroom are amazing!
