In our chalet you will receive a warm welcome with coffee, tea, toilet paper, soap and information about the area.
In the summer it is pleasantly crowded with families and outside the vacations wonderfully quiet.

The cozy cabin, called "the Woodpecker's Nest" has a fresh natural and sunny garden with its own furniture. A nice place to see the squirrels jumping in the trees and hear the woodpeckers roar.

Walkers and dog owners walk right out the back of the park and directly into the woods.

The 'cosy cabin' is of course clean and has a living room with open kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet.

In the kitchen there is a microwave, oven, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle. In addition to the large refrigerator, there is also a large freezer at your disposal.

Behind the cottage you have your own parking lot. The park drives up with a private pass. There may be 1 car in the park. Your guests can park their cars in the large parking lots in front of the entrance.

The park has a swimming pool, tennis court, bike rental, bowling alley, mini golf, several playgrounds, a restaurant for lunch and dinner with terrace, cafeteria and a complete supermarket. As a guest you are provided with all comforts so.
In the public parking lot of the park there are 2 charging stations for charging electric vehicles.

Please note:
There is a separate tourist tax to be paid to the park.
This amounts to €20 for a weekend/midweek and €35 for a full week.
These amounts are per booking and are independent of the number of persons.

In case of loss or damage to the barrier pass, an amount of €50,- will be charged to the guest.

The cleaning fee includes: Cleaning, bed linen, towel and kitchen package for the number of persons booked. More linen packages can be used by arrangement with the host for an additional charge.

WiFi is available for 1 device in the cottage. Please note that this is park WiFi and this has limited speed and capacity. It is best suited for chat, news and email.

The cottage will only be rented out for recreational use.

At 10 minutes drive away is the entrance of National Park de Hoge Veluwe with - in addition to a great nature - the Kröller-Müller Museum and the beautiful hunting lodge Sint-Hubertus of the famous architect Berlage.

In the immediate vicinity of the park there are many beautiful cycling and hiking trails and wildlife enthusiasts can stand eye to eye with beautiful deer, foxes, wild boars and a huge variety of bird species.
The cottage is for families (maximum 4 persons), couples or solo travellers.

- Parties are not allowed.
- Inside and outside the cottage, the use of soft and hard drugs is prohibited.
- It is not allowed to smoke in the cottage. If you smoke outside, please dispose of cigarette butts in the waste bin.
- Avoid the use of fire in the cottage.
- You may not exceed the number of persons stated at the time of booking.
- A set of bed linen and towels will be prepared according to the number of people booked. If extra use is required, this should be arranged with the host first. A surcharge of 10,- pp will be charged. Do not take bath and bed linen out of the storage bins on your own initiative.
- Do not let your children jump on the beds or sofa.
- Do not use food or drinks in the bedrooms, except water.
- The internet may not be used for illegal activities.
- Fireworks are prohibited on the park.
- Please ensure that the gas of the cooker is turned off after use.
- Do not leave the lights on and the windows open after sunset, to prevent the cottage from being visited by unwanted pets, especially in the summer
- Close all windows and doors when you leave the cabin and turn off the lights.
- Please dispose of any rubbish in the appropriate bins.
- After 10 p.m. in the evening, loud noises should be avoided in order to maintain the peace and quiet of the park. Even before this time, loud music or voices may cause a nuisance.
- Are you coming with your dog(s) / pets? This is fine, as long as they remain under your supervision. We accept a maximum of 2 large or 3 small pets. Pets are not allowed on the furniture / bed, unless you bring your own plaids or blankets. And when walking them, please clean up their excrement in the appropriate bins. Pets must be kept on a leash in the park.

And finally:
We expect our guests to behave in a social manner and to respect other people, nature, the park and our property. In case of nuisance, the park management will be informed and they have the right to make you leave. It is a quiet and natural park that strives for harmony and tranquillity.
