Set in the heart of the quaint town of Birgu (Citta Vittoriosa), is this lovely townhouse. Brimming with character and history, Birgu is a medieval town filled with meandering narrow alleys, beautiful streetscapes and characteristic architecture. The townhouse itself has plenty of authentic features including thick stone walls, a traditional Maltese balcony, traditional Maltese patterned tiles and a typical wrought iron staircase. It is newly refurbished and finished to high standards.
The townhouse is located in a quiet alley, close to the piazza where one finds numerous bars and restaurants, and a couple of minutes away from the marina, where one can catch the ferry to the capital city Valletta and to the touristic town of Sliema.
Upon entrance, one is welcomed by a modern living and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, electric hob, oven and fridge/freezer. On the first floor, one finds the first bedroom which consist of a double bed, ensuite bathroom and an open balcony. On the second floor, one finds the second bedroom which consists of two single beds which can be joined together to make a double bed, an ensuite bathroom and a Maltese balcony. At roof level, one finds a kitchenette area complete with mini fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer and a comfortable sunlit terrace. Here one can also watch the sunset and fireworks with views stretching out to Valletta, while enjoying drinks and nibbles.
Each floor is equipped with air-conditioning, appropriate lighting, wi-fi and a modern and elegant finish. Each bedroom has its own safe in which one can lock-up personal belongings. The townhouse is clean and neat, simply designed and finished. Our wish is that you enjoy your stay comfortably, while being located in the heart of a very historical and traditional Maltese town within the three cities.
