This arrondissement, without any major sites, is a story of two tales; to north-eastern end of the 17th, more commonly known as Batignolles, you’ll find a relaxed bohemian atmosphere with a large variety of bars and eateries. In contrast, the south-western side of the 17th feels like an extension of the Champs Élysées with a large selection of midrange to high-end shops. This beautiful arrondissement is home to one of Paris’s best kept secrets like Parc Monceau, an unusually casual and relaxing park in the heart of Paris.
