Stunning Beach Front with Sea Views Luxury Apartment in Carbis Bay near St Ives
Experience the ultimate in luxury and location with a stay at this marvellous two bed apartment; a mere three minutes’ walk from Cornwall’s stunning Carbis Bay beach as well as the area's best seafront restaurants. Set in the exclusive Compass Point development, this wonderful home sits in an elevated position above the bay and offers guests a spacious and superbly finished base from which to enjoy not only one of Cornwall’s best sandy beaches, but the iconic arts and food culture of nearby St Ives.
Beautifully kitted out and boasting exquisite décor and furnishings, the apartment has recently been lovingly and thoroughly refurbished with a uniquely designed, no-expenses-spared interior that has plenty of space for families and couples to enjoy. Elegant living and dining areas provide space to come together in, while a high-end kitchen that flows out to the tropical terrace invites guests to showcase their cookery skills for creating delicious meals that can be enjoyed either indoors or out. Bathed in sunshine throughout the day, this fabulous patio area, is the perfect place to enjoy a morning espresso or an afternoon glass of bubbly (or two)
Sleeping four to six guests, both of the apartment's bedrooms are plush and inviting, sporting sea vistas and sumptuous Super King size beds. Luxury linens and stylish soft furnishings make for a decadent haven to retreat to after days spent unwinding on the beach. The bed in the second bedroom can be split into two singles if preferred.
To the front of the Compass Point development, the communal walkway affords far-reaching views over aquamarine waters, with Carbis Bay's bleached sands being just a short stroll away. Perfect for whiling away sunshine-filled days, the sheltered bay has something for visitors of every age, from sandcastle-building and splashing in the shallows to stand up paddle boarding and kayak safaris while just a 30 minute walk away along the South West Coast Path, lie the towns of St Ives in one direction and Lelant in the other. For a less-energetic but thoroughly worthwhile alternative route to both towns, Carbis Bay’s single-track railway follows a dramatic path along the coast, and offers passengers a unique vantage point of St Ives Bay and beyond.

Zu Gast bei Charlotte Auger

Growing up in a little Cornish village called Ponsanooth, Charlotte’s commitment to hard work started right here in a primary school called Kennall Vale. This lovely little primary school was the beginning of so much for Charlotte who was encouraged from a very early age to work hard and keep her head down. Her commitment to her work and education led to a plethora of achievements including a Scholarship at Truro High School for Girls. It is here that Charlotte completed her GCSE’s and A Levels and set her goals for how she would achieve the next steps in her career. Alongside studying, Charlotte focused her efforts on a successful modelling career and went on to win awards and competitions nationally, featuring in many newspapers and magazines. A real people person at heart, Charlotte went on to host her own MTV Music Show, whilst competing in Beauty Pageants worldwide.
Of course, gaining so much experience wouldn’t be complete without a degree to aid her future business goals. So, alongside her modelling career, and sharing her weeks between Truro and London, Charlotte studied at Plymouth University, where she gained a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Having successfully gained the degree she wanted and having gained the experience needed to explore new business ventures, Charlotte took the next steps in her career. Charlotte went on to create online retail businesses in areas she loved, focusing her new business skills in importing products for online retail sales. With Charlotte’s sights firmly focused on her long-term business dream, there was one more milestone to conquer. Known nationally now for her win, Charlotte went on to win the FHM High Street Honey’s modelling competition, which earned her a modelling contract and generous prize sum. It was this prize sum that helped Charlotte take that all important next step, and she went on to invest in her very first property renovation in Cornwall.

When holidaying in Carbis Bay look no further than Carbis Bay Beach. The proud recipient of a Blue Flag award, meaning it is a super-clean beach. Perfect for families with young children, the water is just right for swimming, and usually free of surfers/body boarders. If you prefer to sunbathe and relax, the spotlessly clean beach is around a mile long. With a beautifully clear sea, this fine beach is quiet; wonderful, too, for a sunset walk.
If a spa day is up your street, try the Carbis Bay Hotel’s C Bay Spa, which also has some fantastic eateries if you need to refuel for lunch, or perhaps looking for a romantic dinner out.
Situated two miles from St Ives along the coast path, it’s a wonderful stroll. Or you can hop on the St Ives Bay line at Carbis Bay for a short but pretty train ride. For beach lovers, there are plenty to choose from… Porthmeor Beach, Porthgwidden Beach, Godrevy, Porthkidney Beach to name but a few. Families and couples will enjoy relaxing on the sand or playing in the water. St Ives Surf School offers sessions for surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding and coasteering. All great fun! If you prefer to stay a little drier though, St Ives Boat Trips run sea-life safaris to see the local dolphins and seals!
One of St Ives most well-known attractions is the Tate St Ives, which is one of only four Tate galleries in the UK and is a haven for lovers of modern art. Artists praise St Ives for its beautiful light and it has inspired many pieces.
The cobbled streets of St Ives are home to many shops, galleries and cafes and most businesses are small independents or artisans. Check out Cornwall Soapbox for handmade soaps and aromatherapy products made in Cornwall!
When visiting St Ives, there are many bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from. Porthminster Kitchen regularly receives great reviews and has a strong focus on fresh local food or head to Blas Burgerworks for a tasty handcrafted burger using ingredients sourced from the area.
