Welcome to our spacious apartment with all luxury amenities, for a one-of-a-kind holiday experience in Calahonda (Marbella). The ideal base with convenient access to the beaches, local shops, as well as a short 20-minutes drive to either Marbella or Malaga (airport). The spacious, fully renovated apartment offers 2 bedrooms and 2,5 bathrooms. The living room offers a lounge and dining area with HD (art) TV. There is a high speed WiFi connection throughout the entire property. The kitchen is fully equipped with the essential amenities. The covered balcony offers you breathtaking sea view of the Mediterranean. For your security there is a safe and the apartment is equipped with shutters in the bedrooms. Within the community there are three pools with sun loungers available for you and there is a dedicated parking for you in the garage. We will personally welcome you at the property with a welcome drink. The ideal place to stay for up to 4 persons. A car is highly recommended.
Living room
Upon entering the apartment, the space opens up to a bright open plan living room with a comfortable sofa and seating area. Furthermore the lounge area has a dining table for 6 and there is HD TV to which you can stream easily your local TV channels (if you use the app of your local TV provider) and we offer complementary Netflix. Additionally there is a music docking station.
Bedrooms
There are 2 bedrooms with build-in wardrobes. Each has a separate bathroom. The master bathroom enjoys a separate shower and bathtub. The master bedroom features a king-size boxspring bed, while the other bedroom has comfortable twin beds (90x200) which can be put together as double beds as well. We supply the bedlinen and towels, as well as complimentary shower gel and shampoo, tissues and toilet paper. Also there is a hairdryer and iron set available for you. There is a separate guest toilet in the apartment as well. The master bedroom is connected to the balcony surrounding the property offering incredible sea views!
Kitchen
The fully equipped kitchen offers an American fridge, induction cooking, dishwasher, microwave and oven. Additional amenities include a Nespresso coffee machine, a juicer, toaster, hand blender and water kettle. The amenity room houses a washing machine with a built-in dryer. We provide basic condiments, cleaning products, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags, etc. for your convenience.
Balcony
The private outside space offers a wide balcony, equipped with a variety of seating and lounging areas including 2 sun beds, a lounge set, a dinning set and a gas BBQ.
Air-conditioning and heating
The apartment has a centralised air-conditioning throughout the entire unit which functions as heating during the winter. The use of the air-conditioning is included in the price, though we expect you to use it fairly, close the doors when in use and always turn it off when leaving the apartment.
Accessibility
Via the elevator you enter the apartment on the 1st floor. The apartment is on a single floor without any doorsteps, making it suitable for disabled guests. Though to access the balcony there is a step to take. To access the shower in the master bathroom a small step needs to be taken as well.
Parking
There is one free dedicated parking in the garage under the apartment available for you. Additional parking is available upon request.
Community
The apartment is located in the community Cascadas de las Lomas, which offers three community pools with sun loungers and sun umbrellas.
Security
The city of Calahonda offers a 24-hours security service. Aside that the apartment has shutters in the bedrooms and there is a mounted safe available for you within the apartment.
Pets
We do allow (small) pets free of charge upon request, under the condition that you leave the apartment "hair free". Also it is not allowed to have the pets on the furniture as well you cannot leave the pet alone in the apartment or balcony at any time. Finally you are not allowed to walk your pet within the community areas.
Check-in and out time
The guaranteed check-in time is 16:00/4PM, in case of a same day check-out. We do our best to have the apartment ready for you as soon as possible and you always can drop off your luggage before. In case we have an in-between day, we can arrange an early check-in. The latest check-out time is 11:00/11AM, in case of a same day check-in. In case of an in-between day we can arrange a late check-out for you. If you wish a guaranteed early check-in or late check-out we recommend to book a day extra.
NEW! Hotel services
Good news for our guests who want to enjoy the space and comfort of an apartment but want the service of a hotel! We now also offer extra services to our guests. These include concierge services (booking a restaurant, massage, private chef, babysit services, etc) as well as luggage storage. We now also offer housekeeping service (€ 40 per clean), (daily) fresh towel service (€ 15 per day) and breakfast service (€ 25 per person per day). We are here for you and just tell us your wishes and we make sure you can enjoy your holidays to the max!
Also we can supply you a baby crib and highchair (€ 20,- per stay) and beach towels (€ 5,- per person per stay). These are complimentary for bookings over 7 days of stay. For longer stays we can arrange extra cleaning as well as fresh bedding upon request.
Long term rental
Our apartment is ideal for longer stays. The apartment has a fast WiFi network (100MB fiber) and we can supply a desk and office chair. Furthermore, the apartment is fully equipped. In addition, we give a 30% discount for bookings longer than one month during the winter months.

City of Calahonda
Calahonda is conveniently located halfway between Marbella and Malaga. The ideal base with convenient access to the beaches, local shops, as well as a short 25-minute drive to either Marbella or Malaga (airport). There are 3 restaurants within a 10 minutes’ walk as well as a bar. The nearest supermarkets, more restaurants, bars, stores, gyms and beaches are just a 7 minutes’ drive from the apartment. Since the apartment is located in the upper part of Calahonda, a car is highly recommended.
Costa del Sol
The city of Malaga is beautiful with its historical old town and very glamorous Calle Larios with trendy shops, boutiques and the Picasso Museum. The picturesque Mountain Village of Mijas with its famous donkey taxis is just 15-minute drive from the apartment. Equally close and ease to reach are the elegant port of Puerto Banus and Marbella with its active nightlife. For day trips we recommend visiting Roda, Estepona or Gibraltar. You can also visit Morocco, North Africa by taking the ferry across or travel to Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Ronda with a few hours drive.
For more adventurous or action you can visit Aqua Mijas, the children's theme park which is situated in Fuengirola. Fuengirola Zoo is nearby and the Marine Wildlife Park. Located a couple of kilometres down the road is Puerto Cabopino, which has the reputation for being the most secluded and picturesque port on the Costa del Sol and is a popular destination for tourists who want to enjoy a good meal before taking a walk along its sandy beaches. Close by are the natural sand dunes at Cabopino, if you are looking for a beach resort with more facilities, then head in either direction, you will come to one of the popular destinations of Fuengirola (to the left) and Marbella (to the right), where you have great beaches, beach clubs and leisure facilities galore. There is a large choice of Golf Courses in the Calahonda area.
Climate
Calahonda enjoys a sub-tropical Mediterranean climate with 300 days of sun, with hot summers and warm winters. Cooling breezes from the sea make the summer heat manageable; temperatures average 32 ºC during the summer and an average of 18 ºC during the winter.
Getting around
It is highly recommended to rent a car. There is one free dedicated parking space available in the garage.
