A lovely spacious apartment on the 3rd floor of a 4-storey block (lift access), with two twin bedrooms, one with sea-view balcony, air-conditioned bedrooms and living area for cool summer nights & warm winter evenings.

Bright, spacious living & dining room leads onto the main apartment balcony with garden, pool and sea views.

Newly refurbished spacious bathroom and also additional shower room, newly fitted kitchen with separate eating area, dishwasher, utility room washing machine and drying facilities.

Full size 25m pool with separate children's pool set in manicured gardens. The pool is open all year round. A qualified lifeguard on duty from June to mid-September.

Just outside the complex can be found the bars, restaurants, shops & 5 mins to the large commercial centre El Zoco and 5 mins walk to beach this apartment is ideal for those who like everything close by yet staying in a quiet complex.

The complex also has secure resident’s car parking, parking is any available space is permitted. For overflow parking the surrounding streets are free to park on. A car however is not essential due to the excellent apartment location.

Apartment location : Only 30 mins door-to-door from Malaga airport this spacious, newly refurbished apartment is ideal for a relaxing holiday yet it is close to all amenities in the town of Calahonda and approx. 10 kms from the bigger tourist towns of both Fuengirola and Marbella.

Set in manicured gardens comprising a full size 25m pool along with separate kids pool the gardens also have shaded areas under trees for those long hot summer days.

Amenities Close By: Just a 2-3 minute walk from a range of restaurants and bars in the residential town of Calahonda the apartment is ideally located for all your holiday needs and does not require use of a car.

Major supermarket, banks and the beach are located 7-8 minutes walk away. And not to be missed is the beautiful little marina of Cabopino just a walk on the beach away.

Sights by Car: For guests with a car Calahonda is located in the middle of the Costa del Golf with 30-40 golf courses are located within a 45 minute radius.

The historic hill town of Mijas (20km) has breathtaking views of the coast, with Fuengirola and Marbella (c.10km) great spots for beach, shopping and nightlife. A local bus service also serves these towns and more.

The apartment was very well furnished, spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. The gardens at the complex were neatly kept. We used the restaurants and bars nearby which were very good. There were two small supermarkets also very close the walk down to the beach was approximately 10 minutes. With plenty of bars for the walk back. The owner Fiona was very easy to contact and was extremely helpful. She gave us lots of helpful information which made our stay so much easier. We would definitely go back and highly recommend to our friends and family.

Inaccurate listing, but we had a nice time.Despite being shown on the listing, there is no playground, BBQ and the complex isn’t secure. However, my daughter and I had a good time regardless. Calahonda is a beautiful place. The immediate area has lots of restaurants, cafes and local supermarkets.Quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of Marbella etc, but easy to access via the bus. Check in was great. The property management company were very helpful.

Hi Victoria, I am glad that you and your daughter enjoyed your month long stay at our apartment and found our apartment agents very helpful. It seems that you may have mistaken our apartment listing information perhaps with another apartment listing? So the following points will assist in clarifying this. We have never had a BBQ in the apartment as a BBQ would be a safety hazard in an apartment and this is not on our listing. Additionally it would not be considerate for neighbouring apartments. The garden and swimming pool areas are play areas for children, an small residential apartment complex such as ours would not usually have a purpose built playground for children, like in public parks. The photos of the garden clearly show the garden and pool areas. Also the complex has secure parking for residents and is only accessed by use of the electronic gate buzzer for use by guests with cars. I hope this helps clarify the above. Kind regards, Fiona.

Fabulous apartment

Excellent location for exploring the Costa del Sol. This apartment had everything we needed, good sized kitchen, dining area and air conditioning throughout. Great 25m pool in well maintained gardens. Very peaceful and relaxing, and a short walk to local restaurants and bars. Excellent communication from property owner and agent who were both extremely helpful and easy to contact when required. Would recommend, we hope to visit again.

Lovely sunny apartment

Apartment location is excellent. Another lovely stay at the apartment. Location is fantastic and minutes walk to bars, supermarkets, restaurants etc. 7 mins walk to the beach and bus stop to marbella or fuengirola. The apartment is spacious and a home from home in a well maintained residential building. Sun on the balcony in the mornings & lots of home comforts. We hope to return again soon. A very beautiful flat, verly friendly and simple, amazing mornigs, quiet nights. If you look for spanish experience, it could be dificult to find. The pool you can use is fantastic, the beach less. But next villages, the beach is good (Marbella). If you like chinese food, the "slow boat" near the flat is espectacular! We enjoied it with two kids, there were a lot of people with funny dogs.

Fabulous!

The apartment was just as described, clean, comfortable, sun on the balcony in the mornings and the photos are a true reflection on how wonderful the apartment is. Great location, a stones throw away from shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and a 7 minute walk to the beach. Easy access to public transport to visit Marbellla and Fuengirola. Fiona was a fantastic host and very helpful throughout the whole process. We would highly recommend. A home from home in the sun. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful apartment with everything you need. Owner very helpful and informative. Area very nice with lots of places to visit within easy driving distance. Plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Only disappointment hence 4stars was the fact that the pool was closed . Apparently, no lifeguard -no pool. This was a real shame as the weather was beautiful . Luckily we love the beach. Would go back.

Hi Christine, Thank you very much for your review and I am delighted that you had a lovely stay at the apartment. Yes earlier this year there was a change to Spanish law regarding large swimming pools and the need to have a qualified lifeguard on duty at all times. While the weather is often lovely in October the community residents felt that from October onwards (for the winter months) that a lifeguard was not required and hence the pool access will not be possible without a lifeguard. Thankfully the beach is very close as you mentioned and a good option for the winter months. Kind regards, Fiona.

Lovely apartment but let down by lack of Wi-Fi

The two us stayed here recently and the apartment is well equipped and clean. As for the Wi-Fi, it accepted the given pass code but then then the "No internet, secured" message appeared on our 5 devices. We reported this to the local agent who said they would pass it on to the owners but heard nothing more. The TV only has Spanish channels and although there are plenty of DVDs, we couldn't find a DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped and clean and the bathroom looks new. The lounge has 2 comfy sofas and large dining table that accomodate 6 diners. Bedrooms are very nice. We will return - if the WiFi works[!]

Thanks for your review Stuart and I’m glad you had a good holiday at the apartment and found it very comfortable. Great that you would like to come back again, that’s always great to hear. Re the Wi-Fi the network provider undertook a network upgrade on the first few days of your holiday. It was back online thereafter with better speeds. Also I appreciate you might have looked for TV in your own language but as we have guests from all over Europe and beyond it’s not possible to have TV channels in Spain covering all languages..

Great apartment, great location and fantastic pool

Great apartment, great location and fantastic pool. The apartment is huge, spacious, cool and also gleaming. We were delighted with the big bedrooms and huge living area. We were never on top of each other. It has a great location only a couple of minutes walk from bars and restaurants and a big supermarket. Just outside the complex is a street of restaurants including great Tapas bar at the front of the complex - we sat outside there many evenings for drinks as well as food. Calahonda is a really nice area and not as built up as Marbella or Fuengirola. We found the owner very helpful to deal with and she answered all our questions and we were very pleased with the service. I can see why this apartment gets great reviews and is often booked up. It’s great for children in the summer with a large pool area, it is also perfect for a couple wanting a peaceful holiday, it’s not near any loud bars or nightclubs which was a big relief. We are very pleased so thank you!

Bright and quiet apartment

A great place to stay, good selection of places to eat outside the complex on the strip or further down the hill and supermarkets a short walk away. Lovely pool area and a very spacious apartment. Fiona the host is very responsive to messages. The second shower is in a utility type area off the kitchen and we were disappointed this was not mentioned in the description or shown in the photos as not a typical set up in our experience. Balconies now have air conditioning units on them so no space for the seating on the bedroom balcony as shown in the photos, still a nice pool view with doors open though. Neither spoilt our holiday but would have been nice to be aware! We also experienced an issue with returning the keys to the owner in Ireland(not London as some outdated info said),they did not arrive within 2 weeks of our return from the apartment although we posted them as soon as possible and this resulted in us being charged pending their receipt, just a hassle we didn't really need after a lovely holiday! Never had to return keys in this way before and will certainly try to avoid in future.

Hi Kathryn, Thank you for your review and I’m glad you had a nice stay at our apartment. The bedroom balcony has always been a Juliet-type balcony and has space for one chair and still does. The air-conditioning unit was placed on the balcony during the summer for a block exterior wall refurbishment. In relation to the keys, we have a complimentary meet and greet service at the apartment for all guests on check-in with our lovely agent, Sue. However given your flight times you specifically requested the keys to be posted to you in advance. Unfortunately as you did not return them for several weeks after your holiday a small temporary key charge was held by VRBO until the keys were finally returned by you. I’m sure you can appreciate that retaining the keys of the apartment for an unnecessarily long time on return from your holiday is not an ideal situation for apartment owners. But thankfully they were finally returned.

Lovely bright apartment in a peaceful setting

I had the pleasure of staying in this apartment for 8 days with my daughter and Dad. It is bright, sunny, immaculately presented and has everything and more that you need for a lovely holiday inlcluding air con. It has 2 good sized bedrooms, one double and one twin. It has a lovely kitchen though you won’t use it much due to all the restaurants in the area. The shower is better than any hotel i have stayed in. The apartment is set in a residential area, on the 3rd floor and has a great lift, it is peaceful and well maintained. The pool is wonderful, large and was never busy and has a small area for children. Fiona was an excellent owner, she provided all the information i needed and was very good at keeping in touch. The apartment is near bars, shops and restaurants and it is easy to get around and it is set back from the road, you don’t get any noise. There is a lovely balcony to sit on which overlooks the pool and sea. There are some lovely restaurants nearby and the beach is a 10 minute walk, i did this with my Dad who isn’t so great at walking, caught a taxi on the way back as it’s uphill. The El Zoco centre has some nice bars and restaurants and is only 10 minutes walk, there is even a small tapas bar at the gates which we used every day and found to be very good. I would really recommend staying here, it is very well positioned apartment and i am so pleased i came across it as i will definitely be returning as there is something for everyone, young and old. L appartement dans l´ensemble est correct. Malheureusement des travaux sont en cours actuellement dans la résidence donc des nuisances sonores. Le propriétaire aurait du nous informer de ces nuisances, malheureusement il ne l a pas fait.

Hi Jean, Thank you for your review and I note your comments about the building works disturbing your stay. I am sorry that this was your experience. The coating of all the blocks with an environmental protection layer was required by law and was underway for some months during 2022. When it was your holiday the painting was taking place on Block 7 at the far end of the complex from our Block 1 so I can only apologise as I did not consider that as the works moved further down the complex the recoating of the last block would be something that would disturb any guests at our apartment. I stayed in the apartment at Easter when the coating of block 4 was taking place and I did not experienced any disturbance so at no time did I think about suggesting you cancel your holiday. I’m pleased to say however that this is a one-off upgrade to the blocks for environmental reasons and is now completed.

Wir kommen wieder

Großzügige helle Wohnung, mit Fahrstuhl, mir persönlich fehlte ein Doppelbett für Eheleute, ansonsten so ziemlich alles vorhanden. Wer mit Auto anreist, empfehlen wir den Strand von Cabopino. Danke!!

Schönes Appartment in gepflegter Anlage

Das Appartment hat eine gute Größe mit Wohnzimmer/Essbereich, zwei Schlafzimmern, einem Vollbad, einer separaten Küche mit Fenster und einem Hauswirtschaftsraum mit zusätzlicher Dusche. Der Balkon ist ausreichend groß mit Blick auf Garten und Pool und entferntem Meerblick. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, u.a. auch mit leichten Gartenliegen/-stühlen, die man mit an den Pool nehmen kann. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, reagiert sehr schnell auf Nachfragen und gibt auch Tipps zur Umgebung.

Skvělý apartmán

Velmi krásný apartmán vybavený vším,co je potřeba na 14 dní dovolené. Velice klidné místo s velkým prostorem pro všechny ubytované. Každodenní úklid zahrady a velkého bazénu. Pláž v blízkosti není tak pěkná, kamenitá,ale v pěší vzdálenosti písčitá a klidná pláž. Celkový dojem moc krásný. Moc jsme si to užili a děkujeme za odpočinkovou dovolenou.

Hola Almudena, gracias por tu reseña de 5 estrellas sobre nuestro apartamento. Tomo nota de tus comentarios sobre que el apartamento estaba un poco desordenado, sin embargo, como es un apartamento de vacaciones, los únicos elementos que hay en el apartamento son muebles y artículos de cocina, según las fotos del apartamento. Observamos que reorganizaste todos los muebles del apartamento, incluido el contenido de los armarios de la cocina, para adaptarlos a tus propias preferencias. Me imagino que al elegir hacer esto, es posible que hayas descubierto algo de polvo detrás de muebles grandes que no se mueven por el apartamento. Además, aprecio que tuvieras a alguien en tu grupo con problemas de movilidad, pero que tampoco alquilaras un coche, lo que debe haber sido un desafío, además de las temperaturas de agosto. Hay una pendiente suave hasta el apartamento, como cualquiera que conozca Calahonda estará de acuerdo, pero realmente no se podría describir como una colina enorme. Creo que tu reseña es un tanto engañosa. Como propietario, resulta decepcionante que la gente no sea objetiva, como se puede ver en las numerosas reseñas anteriores del apartamento, que nunca lo han considerado «desordenado» ni han descrito una «enorme colina» en la Avenida de España. En general, como dejaste una reseña de 5 estrellas, confío en que hayas disfrutado de tu estancia en el apartamento.

El apartamento está muy bien

El apartamento es tal y como muestra el anuncio. Hay un pequeño paseo a la playa y varios restaurantes en la zona, frecuentados por ingleses sobre todo.

Bel appartement et superbe piscine

L'appartement est bien situé, dans une jolie rue. La plage et un carrefour Market sont à 500 mètres à pieds ! Marbella, Málaga, Torremolinos, Banus, Estepona et les autres villes autour sont faciles d'accès avec la voie rapide ! L'appartement est spacieux avec tout ce qu'il faut ! Descendre les 3 étages en ascenseur et hop dans la grande piscine bien entretenue et le jardin aussi ! Et nous pouvons joindre Fiona très facilement, elle répond vite à nos messages. Merci Fiona

Découverte de la Costa del sol

Région agréable à visiter en juin. De Malaga à Estepona magnifique station balnéaire très fleurie jusque dans ses ruelles. A voir absolument. Pas loin à Crestellina très bon fromage de chèvre et autres. Belles plages à Mijas. Marbella ... sans plus et Gibraltar à éviter. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Agréablement bien manger. Merci à Fiona et Lilly.

We purchased this property in order to have a place in the sun and this particular apartment because of its location and its very large & spacious size. The location is wonderful, located at the bottom of the sometimes hilly Calahonda, it's location means that we never have to hire a car, only if we choose to do so. We can walk to the supermarket, the nearby tapas bar for some tapas or a drink in the sunshine, 2 mins walk from a range of restaurants & bars and a 5 mins walk to the beach.

Also, I am a keen swimmer and it is the only apartment complex that I have ever seen that has a proper 25m swimming pool with a shallow end and a deep end, perfect for swimming lengths or relaxing by the steps or in the shallow end. It is also set in a manicured garden meaning that your relaxing by the pool is not over concrete but cooling grass.
