It’s a lovely quiet newly restored flat within a stone’s throw of a lot of very famous landmarks. It is composed of a small hall, a well-equipped kitchen (fridge, cooker, toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee maker etc..), a bright double bedroom with a king-size bed, a single room with a convertible bed-settee for two persons and an airy bathroom with shower.
Everything is ready for you: bedroom linen, blankets, towels, table-cloths and kitchen equipment. The flat has central heating and ceiling fans, there is of course the WIFI, the TV with a DVD player, a radio with CD player, the iron and a hair-dryer. For your laundry, there is a nearby laundrette at cheap prices.

Vacation from the Vacation

This was so needed to wrap up our Europe touring trip. They were just absolutely the best host. We did not want to leave and were already looking when we can come back again.

Fab location in a great district

Stress free check in. Kitchen facilities great. Bathroom needs attention ie shower very slow draining. Bedrooms were good with very comfortable beds. Tv broken but not a problem for us. The best thing about the apartment is its location.

A great little apartment in the Heart of Venice

Anne was awesome as our host. She met us right off the train and took us to the apartment. She went over everything and made us feel at home. The apartment was roomy and well furnished and everything worked really well. The location was great with restaurants and the vaporetto a quick 4 minutes away. I highly recommend it. Grazie, Anne!

Super weekend !

Still excellent second time around!

The owner went to great lengths to make sure we could collect the key somewhere when we arrived deep in the night. The apartment was exactly like we remembered from our stay two years ago. It has everything you need. It is well situated to visit the sights, but just enough away from the beaten path. If our calendars match, we’ll definitely come here again for the next Biennale.

Great location

This flat has a great location on a off the tourist wide passage way.The flat has plenty of room and a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed.We were met and shown around be Gianni who found us as we were arriving from the train station.We had some difficulty with the map but that is topical for Venice.The flat is just around the corner from the St.Toma vaporetto stop.There are lots a restaurants and a couple of grocery stores near by.Our only caution about the flat is the stairs which are not long but rather steep and only partially supported by a railing.This would only a issue for 80 year olds like me!

Hidden gem in Venice.

If arriving by train, stop at the vaporetti station, buy your tickets and take the #2 boat (or #1) to San Toma' and enjoy the short walk to the apartment. It is a beautiful city and this apartment was a great place to stay to enjoy it. Anne and her family are very nice people and the apartment is clean, well maintained and has everything you need to feel like a Venetian. Walk down the streets, without looking at your phone, and enjoy the architecture, the majestry, the history and the people.

Delightful flat and neighbourhood

We were greeted at the railway station with great friendliness and an infectious enthusiasm for this beautiful city. We were helped with our luggage on the walk to the flat, which was not arduous(we are not very fit and in our 60s). we were given a good deal of information and advice as we walked, which was very helpful. we loved the fact that the owner grew up in that flat. It is very well situated for reaching many places we wanted to see, plus has lots of nice "off the beaten track" places we soon learned how to find.We had everything we needed provided. The only thing I would mention is that the flat is too small to accommodate a washing machine, so bring enough changes of clothes for that not to matter. It did not trouble us. We would highly recommend this flat and would love to visit again.

Great location and wonderful host

Our experience started with Anna meeting us at the train and actually walking us to the apartment. Even with a map, it would have been difficult without her help. Anna is very quick to respond to emails or texts. The location is great; a short walking distance to the Great Canal, but away from all of the hustle and bustle. She had great ideas for where to eat; in fact, the best pastries are just 100 meters from the front door! We also had one of the best meals of our whole trip just blocks from the apartment. The apartment is as advertised, a plus for sure. After 5pm, the neighborhood becomes very quiet and turns into a lovely place to walk and explore.

Awesome location

This was an amazing location. It was very easy to reach. You can walk to the apartment from the train/bus station (10-15 minute walk). Or the vaporetta is just a few minutes away. The neighborhood has the feel of being an actual neighborhood of locals. There are several restaurants within steps of the apartment. The Frari church and Ca' Rezzonico museum are very close within 5 minutes walk. The apartment was very lovely. It was very clean and plenty of room for 2 or 3 people. It had everything we need for our stay. The owner met us at the bus station and escorted us personally to the apartment, to show us the way and explain how everything worked in the apartment. We had constant commication with him before the stay. He answered any questions I had promptly. I had a wonderful stay at this apartment and hope to stay again the next time I go to Venice.

Appartement cozy, très propre, tout fonctionne, situé dans un quartier charmant et paisible.

Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et attentifs. L' appartement est très propre et bien décoré, sobriété et bon goût. Le linge est de très bonne qualité. Cuisine bien équipée, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Salle de bain très correcte, douche bien chaude, agréable. Enfin, tout a été préparé pour le bien-être des vacanciers. Impeccable. Le quartier Dorsoduro mérite une remarque supérieure tellement il est plaisant. Tout près de l'appartement, il y a l' Université Cà Foscari ce qui fait que la jeunesse se promène partout, bien gaie et pourtant tranquille. C'est un quartier très animé avec un commerce suffisant et des services de haut niveau. La station du "vaporetto" la plus proche est celle de San Tomà, à moins de 100 mètres de l'appartement, et qui nous ramène facilement partout dans Venise. D'ailleurs, la ville mérite toute notre admiration. Tout y est majestueux et bien entretenu. Venise n'est pas une ville, c' est un rêve! J'y retournerai souvent et, j'espère, dans l'appartement d'Andrea et Anne. Merci pour l'accueil si charmant! Marisa, de Rio de Janeiro, Brésil.

Awsome Location

Our stay at both the location and flat were perfect for accessibility to train / bus / water taxi and all things necessary for a wonderful vacation in Venice. We were met by the owner on arrival, shown the ropes and all things necessary to make our stay a great one. The flat was outfitted to meet all our needs and we appreciated the little basics / sharing items available so we did not have to buy them. Well suitable and recommended.

Un appartement au coeur de Venise

Cet appartement est idéalement situé surtout si vous venez à Venise pour la 1ère fois et répondez à tous nos critères. En effet, vous disposez d'une station vaporetto à moins de 5 min (Rialto et San Marco à moins de 10 min chacun, un supermarché à 2 min, des restaurants et la meilleure pâtisserie de Venise à 2 min, la gare routière Piazzale Roma à 10 min à pied pour les arrivées en car. Perfecto pour un départ tôt le matin. Il est parfaitement fonctionnel. Les propriétaires sont toujours disponibles et préparent votre arrivée en amont. Une petite attention vous attend à votre réception. Petit plus, l'eau est d'une qualité exceptionnelle. Salute !

Lovely stay in a quiet neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Andrea’s flat in the lovely neighborhood of Dorsoduro. Only about a 10-15 minute walk from the bus/railway station but easy access to all sights. We loved being in a quieter neighborhood, near the best pastry shop in all of Venice, and away from the frenetic pace and crowds of San Marco. Good restaurants nearby. Everything was as described and we had all we needed. Andrea’s wife met us at the bus stop (easy access from airport) and oriented us to Venice and the apartment. Since we visited in November, we had no need of a/c but were grateful for heat and towel warmer in the bath! We hope to return soon and would love to stay at Andrea’s apartment again. Thank you for wonderful memories!

THE best location in Venice!

Yes, you can have it all! This place has everything you need, in the best location in town. Really, you don't want to be in a hotel around St Mark's square because you'll be overrun. You want to be here in Dorsoduro, which feels like people still live here. There's several coffee bars around the corner, a restaurant below stairs, and if you don't want to go out the kitchen is fitted out so you can cook your own meal. Very affordable by Venetian standards, and the owners make sure to welcome you in person some way or another. The prosecco in the fridge was a wonderful personal touch.

We loved the apartment and the location.

The apartment was perfect for the three of us, my mom, my daughter and I. It is in a great area that is not as quite as full of tourists as San Marco or Rialto area. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, although we never did figure out the recycling thing. We used the Rick Steves Venice walking tour book which was left at the apartment every day. The owners provided very good information on close by eating establishments, market etc. We are many meals in and also at local places. Very very good.

perfect location and a very thoughtful host!

Andrea met us at the bus station and personally escorted us to the apartment. It was so nice after a long drive to feel safe and settled. showed me the grocery store, café and vaporetto stops. there was coffee, milk and prosecco to greet us. perfect.

Apartment exactly as described!

Enjoyed our stay in the flat! Everything was as expected. Would definitely stay here again. Great location. No AC but fans worked good with screened windows open. Up one flight of stairs. Good Wi-Fi.

Our Time In Venice.

Our stay in Venice was good. From the first impressions of the apartment was good. We were pleased that the kitchen was well equipped and appreciated having an American coffee maker. All necessary materials (garbage bags, mugs, cutlery, plates and etc) were all there and clean. Location of the apartment was close to the grocery store, shops and the vapporetto stop. Very close to Rialto Bridge and Frari Church. Throughout the stay, we felt safe in the apartment and there always was communication between the owner and us. Overall we were comfortable with our stay within the apartment.

Annonce conforme à la description et photos publiées. Nous avons apprécié qu'a la suite d'une annulation de vol inopinée réduisant notre séjour d'une nuit,celle ci ne nous fut pas comptée. appartement bien situé permettant de se déplacer facilement.

Comfortable flat in Venice

We had a great time staying in this conveniently located flat. It had everything needed for our stay and the hosts were extremely helpful. It was also excellent value for three of us.
