Cedar Beach Lodge is a modern, smoke-free, year-round vacation rental house retreat located in the desirable and private Cove Point Beach Community on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay. The lodge is just a 5 minute walk to the beach. It is conveniently located 1 hour from Annapolis, MD and Washington, DC on Route 4 and 10 minutes from Solomons Island, MD, and many Calvert County attractions. Imagine your family enjoying the sunrise at dawn or a bonfire at night on the beautiful 1 mile long beach! Walk to the Cove Point Lighthouse and look for Miocene Era fossils and shark’s teeth!

This immaculate cedar lodge was built in 2005. HDTV in great room and MBR! Your family and guests will enjoy all the comforts of home! Sleeps 6-8 comfortably! Private master bedroom loft w/king bed, TV and nursery area with crib, 2nd bedroom has 1 queen bed, 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds and there is a queen sized pull-out sofa bed in the great room. 2 full baths and private outdoor shower with dressing area. Dog friendly (with owners approval.)

Peak Season (May 1-September 30): 2 night minimum or weekly Off Peak Season (October 1- April 30): 2 night minimum, weekly or monthly. Holidays: Memorial and Labor Day weekends 3 nights minimum and Thanksgiving 4 nights minimum.

This lovely lodge is in a small, charming beach community and just a short walk to a beautiful private beach. The house is well equipped, inviting and beautifully maintained. It is the perfect place for a beach vacation.

The home was very nice, set up for kids and sat in a very quiet location. The beach was a 2 minute walk and the neighborhood was perfect for the kids to ride their electric bikes. The kids found many shark teeth and fossils. What absolutely stay here again.

We found this as a last minute booking. The host responded very quickly and we were able to book very fast. Very nice place with a short walk to a private beach near a lighthouse. Although we did not need anything, the host has everything you would need to enjoy your time at the beach. Property is located close to several state parks/beaches. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood.

Very nice stay. The property was very close to the beach, as promised. Only a short walk, and they had two pull wagons available for guest use to take down chairs, coolers, etc. Outdoor shower was great. Pillows in all rooms were pretty flat, but overall everything was great.

Marcel was a wonderful host. The house is VERY well equipped with beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, etc. They also have loads of children’s toys and books. The kitchen has plenty of pots/pans/dishes. The proximity to the beach was great for my kid to walk and explore. We were able to get to the private beach north of the lighthouse which is where we found a good amount of sharks teeth!

Cedar Beach lodge was just right for our family. We had hoped to spend lots of time hunting for fossils at the beach. The beach is beautiful. We spent many hours found lots of fossils and had fun at the water’s edge. .

We had a great time staying at the cedar beach lodge. It was perfect for families with young kids—they had books and toys so we didn’t need to bring anything in that respect. The supply room was also stocked, which we unfortunately didn’t think to check earlier on. Kitchen and pantry were also well stocked. It was a close walk to the beach and close drive to stores and Solomon’s which was great for us and the kids. Hosts were also very communicative.

My family and I loved our stay. The host was extremely responsive to questions and concerns and reached out directly to me to address them. The house is clean and the location is less than 5 minute walk to a private beach. Plenty of sand toys for kids and the outside shower was a nice touch for getting rid of beach sand. My only complaint is one bed was a bit squeaky but the kids were so tired it didn’t bother them. Highly recommend

This was a quick overnight reboot for 3 friends. Communication was seamless with our host. Everything was great. Wonderful location for privacy. I can see how amazing this property would be in the summer with your children. There is plenty of space outside to play and it’s less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. Easy access to so many restaurants and entertainment within 15-20 minute drive. My only disappointment was there were literally cobwebs on the coffee machine. Clearly the kitchen had not been cleaned since the end of beach season or at least not prior to our arrival but we paid a HEFTY cleaning fee for this property. Overall I would definitely recommend and would come again!
