Charming cottage by the sea - Coop's Landing

Coop’s Landing is a really charming cottage in the heart of the conservation area of the pretty Georgian town of Deal. It is superbly located in a quiet street just yards from both the buzzing high street with its delis, boutique shops and cafes, and also a few yards from the main promenade, the pier and long pebble beach. On entering the cottage, there is a reception room with comfortable armchairs, a dining table and chairs and a lovely gas wood-effect burner for cosy winter evenings. The cheery kitchen has a great breakfast bar overlooking the little courtyard garden, which is a suntrap for morning coffee or an evening aperitif. Upstairs is a well-designed bathroom and the sitting room, with large velvet sofa, a Smart TV and desk and chair. The bedroom is on the second floor. This charming cottage is perfect for couples wanting to get away for a romantic break, and it's pet friendly too.

Charming cottage

Lovely little cottage in an excellent spot almost on the sea front. Sweet courtyard garden. Loved the sitting room on the first floor which made it very light.

Coops Landing Deal

A cosy comfortable well equipped cottage. Fabulous location - sea at one end of the street, pub and high street at the other. Beware if you are very tall - narrow stairs and low ceilings - lovely old character and charm. Keepers Cottages were very helpful and replied quickly to any messages/requests. Kitchen amply equipped for self catering. Nice to have a dishwasher and washing machine. Would definitely stay here again.

Quirky cottage in Deal

Lovely cottage in an excellent location for both long walks by the sea and easy access to the High St and all the facilities of Deal. Very comfortable and well equipped - but beware of low ceilings and difficult stairs (over 3 floors)

Cottage Charm with a Cardio Bonus

It really is an old fisherman’s cottage! The stairs will be our lasting memory we’re definitely fitter than when we arrived . Lovely period features from a bygone age. The cottage is very well appointed and comfortable; the gas fire was perfect for drying coats during a drizzly few days. That wasn’t a negative we loved the town and how dog-friendly it is. Overall, excellent value and a great, central base for exploring the area.

Great location

Great location of this small cottage for a couple. Steps are very steep and winding so not suitable for people with children or babies as they are very dangerous to climb. Kitchen was well equipped and bathroom was nice. Bedroom ceilings were very low in parts so mind your head!

A short mid-week break by the sea.

A beautiful cottage in an amazing location. Coops Landing has everything you will need for a lovely stay in Deal, and the location is second-to-none. Clean and cosy and beautifully decorated, and Keepers Cottages could not be more helpful. Be aware that the stairs are steep (fine if you take them slowly), and there are a couple of low doorways. But it's a lovely place and I'll definitely be back.

RELAXING STAY ON THE COAST

Coops landing is a smart, tastefully decorated cottage with bags of character right in the heart of Deal. Superb location for all local amenities, a stone's throw from the beach and free parking not too far away. Everything we needed was there- TV, washing machine, WIFI, full kitchen facilities etc. and the wine and nibbles left by the owner were much appreciated. Practically speaking, the rooms are small, stairs very steep and headroom tight in a couple of places which might be challenging for some, but luckily I only hit my head once! All in all we really enjoyed Deal, and staying at Coops Landing was the perfect base. We'd definitely return.

A lovely little nest

We had a lovely weekend at Coop’s landing. It is welcoming, clean and very well equipped. The customer service was very responsive (we did not know how to turn the boiler on). The location is perfect, a 1 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes from restaurants and bars. I would definitely recommend (unless you are super tall or have mobility issues, as ceilings are low and there are lots of stairs).

Very well appointed cottage

We liked our stay here, Im a local but live away at the moment so was a good base for us. My only thoughts are, if your a tall person like me, then you might struggle with height of the door ways. But most houses in Deal are like this anyhow. The attention to the detail was great - well thought out. Would I stay again, Yes I would.
