Es befindet sich auf einem abgelegenen Bauernhof in der Nähe der charmanten Stadt Cape Charles mit ihren wunderschönen Stränden, vielseitigen Geschäften und großartigen Restaurants. Das Haus mit 6 Schlafzimmern und 4 Bädern verfügt über eine hochmoderne Gourmetküche mit allen Geräten aus Edelstahl. Das Achterdeck bietet Blick auf eine Feuerstelle und eine antike Backsteinterrasse. Es gibt einen Flachbild-Sat-TV und WIFI.

Die Strände von Cape Charles und Kiptopeke State Park befinden sich in der Nähe. Am Cape Charles und im Kiptopeke State Park gibt es Anglerpiers. Es gibt bequeme Bootsrampen in Cape Charles, Kiptopeke State Park, Oyster und Wise Point. Der BayCreek Signature Golf Course ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt, sowohl mit einem Arnold Palmer als auch mit einem Jack Nicholas Signature Golf Course. The house was perfect for a girl’s trip. It slept 9 of us very comfortably and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. This is our third year and we’ll be back!

During our 3 day stay, 4 of the guests got severely sick from what we believe was the water at the house. The house used well water and sits on a large farm. The owner should get the well water tested for contaminants. As stated in other reviews, the house could use a deep cleaning. Cobwebs throughout and some of the bathrooms barely have any water pressure. The kitchen supplies, while numerous, don’t have a lot of the necessary everyday items such as measuring cups.While everyone was asleep, the smoke alarms started going off at 2am for no reason. Some alarms wouldn’t stop even while unplugged. Lots of room and beds for larger family. Easy check-in and checkout.

Cute house

Very spacious and clean. They had all the supplies we needed from toilet paper to towels utensils. The beds were comfortable. My husband was upset about having one TV but to be honest I'm glad they didn't have TVs in the other rooms because we all sat and watch TV together as a family. Very quiet area and even had a cute cat house next door. Did a fire pit in the back and it was very nice.

Hi! We did enjoy your very nice house/property. We just found the twin bed and full bed on the second floor extremely uncomfortable. The furniture in the living room…sofa was fine, however, the two round chairs were really dirty. We loved the yard and wish we could have enjoyed the fireplace out there but the weekend was rainy. Thank you so much for your hospitality. PS I didn’t realize this was a pet friendly rental…😁. We did enjoy our stay!

Amazing value for the money! Large group would love it!

Quiet location about 5 minutes from the heart of Cape Charles. There's a house directly across that's far enough to not feel intrusive, but close enough that a large group could walk back and forth, if desired. Large clearing other than the two homes. Plenty of seating, including a deck with a dining table and sectional sofa that weren't pictured, so that was a nice surprise. The owner communicated promptly, and check-in/out procedures were easy and reasonable. Would definitely recommend, especially for large groups (there was only two of us, so it felt a bit isolated...not the owner's fault)! Easy access to Cape Charles, CB Bridge, and other points. Can't beat it for the $; could see myself planning a large family gathering there in the future.

Charming but needs some maintenance

We recently stayed here with a rather large group, for adults and eight kids. Pros: The house and setting are charming. Very comfortably fits 12 people Adequate furnishings for everyone Short drive to Cape Charles on one end and Kiptopeke State Park on the other. Owner was good to work with Cons: Not sure where the water comes from (probably well water) but it has a smell that is quite strong and isn’t great. You’re going to want to bring bottled water for your stay. House just needs some attention that is more than just surface level. There were lots of places where the walls are dirty and need to be cleaned or just repainted. Floors were swept but didn’t appeared to be mopped. And there were stains in places like the bathrooms. Some of the stains would require the whole sink/tub to be changed out but other things like the white shower curtain that is stained dark yellow on the bottom would be an easy and cheap fix. You are out on farmland so there were bugs that had made their way into the house. The good thing though is that they weren’t things like bed bugs, cockroaches, or mice. They were things like little beetles, wispy spiders, and such. They didn’t bother me or my husband but they bothered some of my kids.

Accurate information.

We stayed two nights at this place. It was quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we need it. Kitchen had what we need for coffee and liquids all good. If you ask me what would I change it would be the bath in the 3rd floor shower wise way too small. Other than that all good.

Nice location. For the most part, I was satisfied. The house does need a deep cleaning. The stove/refrigerator needed attention. Would like to have had space in the pantry to place a few items. Please make checking under all beds as part of the cleaning process.
