Very nice property but the owner was horrible

We were all so excited to stay in Sun River. Our group consisted of myself, my brother, sister in law, daughter, niece, and two grandkids. The house was spacious and clean, set up nicely for families with many toys and a nice large fully fenced yard for the two dogs we brought. The beds were very comfortable. Issues with the sprinklers started when we arrived the first night at around 6pm. The large rotating sprinkler covered the driveway and the stairs/porch to the front door. These areas were impossible to access without either getting drenched or turning the sprinkler off while we brought our things inside. My daughter with the grandkids was there first and turned the sprinkler off so we could unload. My daughter immediately received a message from the owner stating that ‘her neighbor told her that the sprinkler was turned off and to turn it back on immediately, as a guest in the past had wrecked her lawn by turning the sprinkler off’. So there was no thought of it being hard for guests to bring their things in. Also, a neighbor was watching us that closely? Ick. Anyway we all got there and everything was great. There weren’t any unbreakable plates for the kids, they broke two plates, which we reported and paid for. We went and bought our own plastic plates for them after this. The next night, again at 6pm. We were hanging out in the backyard and preparing barbecue for my niece’s birthday dinner, when the back sprinkler, industrial sprinkler came on and dren

Great vacation property

The owners are amazing and went above and beyond for my family. The house was clean and was perfect for our family of 5. It even had a crib for our youngest! This house is very kid friendly which was perfect for us. We really loved that it was in a quiet neighborhood. The hot tub worked great and the fire pit was beautiful! I highly recommend this property for a nice getaway.

Great dog yard

which is hard to find in Sunriver proper. Clean and reasonably well equipped; the water filtration was much appreciated considering the local water. Is close enough to Sunriver to visit others there in our extended wedding party but also close to open National Forest for hiking the dogs. Will definitely stay there again when we are in town.

Sunriver Home Away from Home

My partner and I spent an absolutely amazing week at Yara and Joshua's rental. The house came well-equipped for nights spent cooking/grilling in and had a comfortable desk setup for remote work; the internet was stable throughout our stay even during heavy video and screen share meetings. After a day of remote work or spending our free time outdoors enjoying all that Sunriver/ Bend recreation had to offer it was great to come back to a large backyard for the dogs to tire themselves out in and a jacuzzi for us to relax in. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Clean, lovely house

So much space! Loved having master bedroom and attached bath on one side of house and other bedrooms and bath on other side. The backyard is really nice( fully fenced, perfect for dogs) with deck and my personal favorite, the hot tub. I communicated with Yara and she was so welcoming, helpful, and personable. We had a wonderful experience!

Peaceful spot with all the things

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the property has all the amenities and then some! The yard was great for the dogs and we took full advantage of the hot tub throughout the day. The interior was well thought out and hosts were responsive when we had questions. Would definitely return!

Kid friendly

This home was clean. Definitely set up for kids rather than a multiple adults. The only TV access is via internet and if the internet is running slowly, reception is interrupted. If you are planning on being out and about most of the time, this home is a good place to stay.

Family Getaway

The inside of the house was beautiful and spacious. The house was well kept with just the normal wear and tear of being a family home. The A/C worked well which was a blessing considering the temperature was in the 100's during our stay. We only used the hot tub once, but it was clean and the jets worked well. All in all you can see that they take pride in their home and work hard to make your visit a good one.

Great for spring break skiing!

This place had everything we needed and wanted. There was room for everyone and our ski equipment. The home was clean and well thought-out, and the hot tub very welcome after a long day. The owners were so responsive and kind; we'd love to stay here again.

Ideal family homebase for Bend and Sunriver

My family has stayed in several rental properties over the years, and this one made us feel the most at home. The location, the layout, the furniture, and the property itself all help create a feeling of ease and serenity. The house is appropriately baby-proofed (if you need that) and has just enough toys for all ages, both inside the house and out. My biggest concern with staying inside Sunriver-proper, was the lack of private space for the kids to play. This property was the best of both worlds, with access to Bachelor, 97, and Sunriver resort, but a fenced yard for the kids to play in. Bring your family and enjoy!

So nice and quiet, with all the amenities

We spent a wonderful week in Sunriver at this house. We absolutely loved it. The location is quiet and private, large backyard, BBQs (both gas and charcoal) provided, the hot tub was a hit (so magnificent during the night, I have never seen more stars in the sky since there is no big-city light pollution; we even saw a shooting star). The house is spacious and accommodates many guests, the beds are very comfy, everything was nice and clean. Everything is baby-proof (our kids are teenagers now so we did not need it), but in case one is traveling with toddlers, this is a great place to stay. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood away from the touristy Sunriver village, but close enough to be there in a couple minutes. Had we known there are so many bike trails, we would have brought our bikes. But we could find a rental station in Sunriver and got to enjoy the many bike paths. The well water was not an issue as there is a filtration system in the house and a special tap for extra filtering (our morning coffee tasted as good as always). The hosts are very responsive and if there are questions, immediate answers are guaranteed. All in all, this was a wonderful experience. Thanks and we will be back soon.

Good and cozy, kids friendly

Love the fenced yard and wood stove. Lots of toys for smaller kids. Would be nice to have more sleep room like maybe bunk bed in baby room, kinda no use of furniture there. Also for older kids Nothing to do inside except watch tv, would be nice to have fooseball or other table games for older kids. Overall good impression, owners very fast responding. More for families with small kids under 5 years of age.
