Båstad is located on the beautiful Bjäre peninsula by the sea between Halmstad and Helsingborg. The Bjäre peninsula has fantastic nature with pastoral idyll, long sandy beaches, high mountains in Hovshallar and in a beautiful new environment. In summer, the town attracts many tourists who are invited to concerts, art events, intense sports life but also high-end restaurants in Båstado Torekov. One of Sweden's most beautiful gardens; Norrviken's gardens invite you to enjoyable walks in a fabulous environment. Båstad is sometimes called Sweden's Tennis "Mecca" but many other sports are also practiced on the Bjäre peninsula such as tennis, golf, sailing, horse riding, padel, beacwolly etc.

The location is very quiet and about 300m from Malen's swimming pool which is a municipal temperate saltwater pool and the sea in the form of Laholmsbukten with a sandy beach, Öresjön, a small lake, which was originally a limestone quarry, now with fine salmon trout fishing, is popularly called Kalkan. The proximity to Malens forest provides great exercise opportunities with well-groomed illuminated jogging trails and an outdoor gym. The Stensån river that flows past Öresjön is considered to have the best wild salmon fishing waters on the West Coast.
