Palaces:
The highest part of the city is dominated by the Cathedral, which features Gothic elements and houses works of art including “The Magdalene” by Piero della Francesca and the Medici Fortress. Along Via dei Pillati, you can admire the Palazzo Pretorio and Petrarch’s birthplace.
The Cathedral stands atop a 16th-century Gothic-style staircase; outside is the Neo-Gothic bell tower, and inside are the stained-glass windows by Guillaume de Marcillat, the Tarlati Chapel, the Arcadi of St. Donato, Piero della Francesca’s fresco of Mary Magdalene, and the cenotaph of Guido Tarlati; at the far end of the nave is the Chapel of the Madonna del Conforto.

Parking: The “Le Poste” apartment is located right in the city center but outside the city’s restricted traffic zone (ZTL), so you can easily drive right up to the property. Just 10 meters before the apartment, you’ll find two 24-hour paid parking lots, one directly across from the other;
