Seagulls Lodge is set in the tranquil setting of Bridlington Links Golf course found on the cliff tops just outside the thriving town of Bridlington on the stunning Yorkshire coastline. With all ground floor accommodation and enclosed decking, this holiday home is ideal for two couples or a small family looking for a dog friendly property.
Step inside and find a bright and airy open-plan living space with large French doors leading out to an enclosed decked area. Two deep-filled sofas provide plenty of seating for four and an electric fire adds a warming charm for the cooler winter months. A modern kitchen offers a host of appliances so is well-equipped to enjoy a home cooked meal. There is plenty of storage space for your holiday essentials and lots of work top from where to prepare a hearty Yorkshire breakfast or delicious evening meal which can be enjoyed at the dining table which sits close by. Along the corridor is a stylish bathroom providing a bath with a shower over. Seagulls Lodge offers two double bedrooms one of which has its own en-suite shower room. During the summer months spend the evenings sitting outside watching the deer that graze amongst the lodges or spending an hour or two in the private hot tub watching the owls that hunt along the treeline.
Wander down to the golf clubhouse and enjoy the sea views with a refreshing pint and a delicious meal from the restaurant. Don’t forget to bring your golf clubs to enjoy this superb course or practice your swing at the driving range (additional charges apply). Close by is Sewerby Hall and Gardens, access can be gained by the gate through the woods. Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House are also worth a visit. Bridlington offers two beaches a long promenade and a land train as well as a plethora of tea rooms, restaurants, bars and convenience stores.
This area is a walkers’ and cyclists’ delight; walk the Flamborough Heritage Coastline, explore Danes Dyke Nature Reserve or take a drive through the unspoilt rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. RSPB Bempton Cliffs is a short drive away and should feature on your holiday itinerary. Filey, Scarborough and the historic city of York are all under an hour away. Seagulls Lodge offers a relaxing retreat to return to each evening. Beach 1 mile. Pub and restaurant 1 mile.
