Secluded traditional stone villa with unforgettable views

We are a large family of three children and about to be 9 grandchildren. Michael is still working as a private client lawyer and Sue generally keeps everything together and is in charge of the villa. All the family love their holidays at To Petrino and it is regarded as a second home not just a rental. We began building To Petrino in 2000. It was a great adventure which took 3 1/2 years to complete. Built with local stone by local stone masons and bespoke wood work for the windows doors and shutters. All 5 bedrooms are a similar size, avoiding the problem of some guests feeling they have been given a lesser room. We furnished the villa from bespoke made teak furniture from Indonesia and have collected antiques and collectibles from around the world giving it an eclectic look. We have imported 5* hotel Hypnos mattresses down and feather pillows or synthetic on request. White pure cotton linen which is changed twice a week.
The infinity pool is on a lower large terrace so that it can be gated for child safety. The pool can be heated in cooler times by a heat pump at extra cost. The pool enjoys fabulous views of Nidri below, the main land mountains with islands in the bay. The sun rises above the mountains in the morning is a very special time.
