Escape to a romantic getaway in the Sanderling with its king sized bed, overlooking Beadnell Bay. With its cosy log burner to keep you snug and warm after a dip in the Wood Fired Hot Tub. If that is not enough, the stunning glass ceiling above the bed enables you to continue star-gazing long into the night. From inside and outside you can enjoy stunning views across Beadnell bay and Seahouses. The Sanderling is situated on the outskirts of Beadnell Village with views across the fields towards the sea.

Great location with sea view. Lovely wood burner kept us cosy and warm as toast. Nice welcome gifts of Prosecco and chocolate which went down a treat. Fenwick the dog loved his stay too. Will definitely book again.

What a great little gem

We really couldn’t have asked for more. Our stay was just the tonic that we needed. It was very comfortable and clean. The wood fired hot tub was an absolute treat as was the star gazing window above the bed. Everything we needed was there. A very comfortable stay. That bed… OMG! What a couple of great nights sleep. Location is excellent for everything you need and want to explore. Beautiful place to be. Thank you xx We will definitely be booking again.

30th wedding anniversary

We wanted something different and the Sanderling provided it in abundance ! A unique way to spend our special anniversary and located in stunning surrounds with fantastic views. The view lying in the raised bed looking out over fields of hay bales to the coast and Low Newton was superb. Everything you need and the luxury of the hot tub after a days walking is amazing. The village with its cracking pubs and great food was perfectly placed and a stroll back after to round off the evening was a fantastic way to end each day. The hosts cater for everything you need and were attentive without being intrusive in any way. We hope to be back.

Fabulous stay in shepherds hut. Stunning views and beautiful cosy place to unwind and enjoy nature . Stargazing on a night before bed through the glass roof and chilling in the lovely garden in hot tub and sitting round fire on a night in one of our favourite parts of the country it’s just amazing. We just love this place !

A perfect Shepherds hut with everything you need. Super shower. The family had both hits for the weekend and had a perfect stay. Sitting out around fire pit every evening. The hot tub was a great bonus. The enclosed garden great for dogs. We and the dogs appreciated the treats we received as a welcome gift. Would love to return. The Huts are well positioned to make most of stunning views. Only a short walk to Beadnell which was lovely for brunch ( Salt Water Cafe) and Sunday Lunch( The Craster Arms). The beach was stunning.

Cosy hideaway in a lovely area

We stayed for 3 nights.Lovely secluded space,only downside being traffic noise from road on the other side of the hedge Thoughtful touches in a small but cosy cabin -felt like love and care had been put into its construction.Lovely rooftop window allowing light in,and to lie under at night,and comfy bed.Clare enjoyed the tub -cold and warm with wine and book in hand Not much storage due to size and maybe a little challenge getting up to the bed with anyone with mobility issues but we liked it-part of its allure.Didn’t need the log burner as so warm so 1.5 bags left for future residents Didn’t meet the owners but a friendly welcome message ahead of our arrival and felt they were there if needed Liked Beadnell -less touristy than Seahouses and bus service to return from Bamburgh and Seahouses on our walk to A mini fridge in hut would’ve been useful to keep milk in for our morning cuppa without having to venture out but a flask worked well The online guide was great and a good go to Thankyou for making such a lovely space and hut available for us to enjoy -David and Clare

Can't recommend highly enough!

These beautiful shepherds huts are a perfect base for exploring the local area and returning back to at the end of the day to relax. Deforestation our stay communication was excellent and the guidebook provided was brilliant for helping us to plan our stay. Everything we needed to know was all covered in there. When we arrived we were so impressed at The Sanderling! It was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay and more. The complimentary bottle of fizz and bar of chocolate were a lovely touch too. The bathroom was so much bigger than expected and the shower was beautifully hot and powerful. The hot tub was easy to use and the perfect way to spend the evening. We absolutely loved our stay here, and cant wait to return.

A weekend getaway to remember!

I booked The Sanderling for my partner and I as a weekend getaway to switch off and relax. We couldn't have been happier when we arrived, with the hut being warm and inviting. Everything has been thought of and we wanted for nothing. The view out across the field is spectacular and is even better in the early morning sun when the rest of the world is sleeping. We will return for definite, an amazing couple of days. Thanks to Sam and the team for making it so relaxing.

Just what we needed.

Beautiful place, beautiful location and absolutely perfect for a quiet getaway. It has everything you need and then some, hot tub was perfect and the little wood burner inside does the job perfectly.

Fantastic views

Sanderling is in a great position with wonderful views. We enjoyed walking to the village and along the beaches. The salt water cafe and the courtyard cafe are both dog friendly and serve great food.Relaxing in the hot tub on a clear night watching the stars was an amazing experience. We'll definitely return to Beadnell, it's a beautiful place and very welcoming.

Perfect location. Perfect accommodation

Found the app very useful for all information prior to our break away. Easy to find and a great location close enough to walk into Beadnell along the footpath yet far enough out to enjoy peace and quiet. Everything you could need and more in the shepherds hut and a great use of space. We found the bed really comfortable and with the word burner kit we were more than toasty warm. So nice to have the glass ceiling to look at the stars and made the shepherds hut feel light and bright. The shower is amazing and powerful and a very enormous size bathroom. The enclosed garden was secure and private and the hot tub was amazing. Enjoyed sitting in it both evenings even the rain didn’t spoil it. Loved the Prosecco and local chocolate what a nice touch as well as dog treats for our dog. We had a brilliant weekend and would definitely recommend and look forward to rebooking.

Anniversary break

First time using this kind of accommodation so wasnt sure what to expect. Lovely. Warm, quirky, clean, and just our cup of tea haha. Lovely touch with the chocolate and the fizz. Hot tub a nice touch amd thankfully with a beautiful day that we had perfect for stargazing. Managing to see a few shooting stars and satellites. Not alot to complain about really. Maybe not that accurate about how close the beaches were but had a wonderful 180* view from cabin and able to see the lighthouse in the nightime. Check in easy. In a nustshell, wonderful break away

Can't wait to come back!

We had a truly wonderful time at the Sanderling. Perfect location, just ten minutes walk from Beadnell village and bay, and the hut itself is gorgeous! Watching the stars through the skylight above the bed whilst the log burner warmed the room... absolutely magical. Lots of thoughtful touches... jigsaws, hot water bottles, books about stargazing. And the views are spectacular! Can't remember the last time I felt so relaxed, just sitting outdoors by the fire pit, watching the night skies. Can't recommend it enough, and can't wait to come back!

Great accommodation and location

Lovely shepherds hut. Great decor. Really comfortable. Amazing double shower. Lovely Prosecco and chocolate bar as a special treat. Great views, especially the stars. Really easy to walk to Beadnell village. Would highly recommend.
