Fantastic accommodation for our family

We could not have chosen a more fabulous location for a family group of 10 to spend time in London! The property felt like an idyllic haven with a fantastic kitchen, beautiful decor throughout, relaxing backyard, and no fewer than 4 cats for our feline-loving fam. Our hostess was incredibly responsive whenever we had questions. It was absolutely the right choice and I’d love to stay again sometime.

We felt right at home

Lara did a fantastic job with communicating with me in the lead up to our trip and all of the details about our stay. We had such a wonderful time at the house as a group of 10 adults and our 3 year old - it was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Edith was so helpful and a delight to be around as well. Would absolutely stay in the house again and can't thank Lara enough for everything!

Great property, located in a quiet area that is a short walk from tube, national rail services, grocery stores, restaurants and cafes. Our group of 10 stayed comfortably with plenty of room in this well stocked home. The cats in the home added even more character and charm than it already had, coming and going throughout the day.Lara was quick and responsive to all of our questions and info needed from booking and after arrival. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a spacious home with easy access to the London landmarks, but outside the main city area.

A genuine home, not just a house. This home is lived-in and maintained as a livable home, with everything you would find in a home including every kitchen item you could possibly want, even spices in the cabinet. The entire home is personal and cared-for, and you will feel like you are visiting family. It comes with cats, and while that is pretty unusual for a rental, they are sweet and will leave you alone if you don't want to interact with them. My family enjoyed socializing with the two that wanted to be pet.This home is in a good neighborhood, quiet at night. Street parking was easy, right in front. A big park is nearby with a great playground for kids. We were there during a heat wave and the house cooled off very well at night with open windows. There are fans in each room. The backyard was great, with grass for the kids to play on, a BBQ area for grilling, and a couple of comfortable seating areas. Beds were very comfortable and everyone slept well. The owner was wonderful and helpful.

Wonderful stay close to downtown London

This was a very welcome stay after travelling for a month around Europe. The host was so accommodating! She made sure all was in working order. The location was safe and close to downtown London, (taxi were very accessible as well as the metro). The home was extremely clean, with plenty of towels, spices to make dinner, etc. The host does own a couple of cats, but these stayed away while we were there. Highly recommend!

Christmas 2023

Heaver House was the perfect location for our family Christmas. We absolutely loved the space and so appreciated the house being wonderfully decorated for the festive period. The house really speaks for itself with the amount of space (we were 9) and amazing decor. We appreciated the owners level of trust with personal items which made our stay feel like visiting a friend’s home and not just a rental. The housekeeper Edith was an absolute star, incredibly helpful and a real added bonus to our break. Lara is very responsive to any enquiries or needs. Would highly recommend.
