Wonderful stay!

I stayed here with my family for vacation and had a wonderful stay! The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The view is amazing! It is a 10 minute walk downhill to the beach. The property manager is excellent. Wonderful stay!

Great Apartment, Beautiful Area and Fantastic Host!

Not sure you can ask for a better experience than staying at this wonderful location, with such a gracious host. Everything was as advertised and Gaia was an amazing host, who made the check in easy and who helped us with wonderful recommendations! Would highly recommend this place for a family who wanted to be close to Monterosso but have space to themselves!

Oasis in Monterosso

We loved our stay in Monterosso. It was fabulous to have spectacular views and our host was extremely helpful with all our questions. The place was super clean and was very spacious. We made a couple of dinners in the kitchen and ate out on the deck enjoying the view. What a great vacation!

Magnificent views in a peaceful setting

Our family of four had a wonderful time at the sunrise apartment. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to town, shops, restaurants, train station, and beautiful beaches. Our host was responsive and the apartment was stocked with everything we needed. The best thing was the breathtaking views and decks to relax and enjoy this special town.

Beautiful property, responsive host!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Sunrise Apartments. The apartment sits on the hillside above town providing great views and quick walking access to the adorable town. The home was well appointed and very clean. The host was very responsive during our stay, answering questions and providing dining recommendations. Wonderful experience, highly recommended.

Great Property with a Great View

The view from the balcony was amazing. The property was high on the hill, so you need to take a taxi to get there, but an easy walk back down to town. The host was very responsive, provided an easy check-in process, and was helpful with restaurant recommendations. The beds were comfortable and the location was very quiet, which was nice since we were just wanting to relax our last couple of days in Italy. The apartment has some dated features, but nothing that would prevent me from renting it again because the views offset everything else.

Fantastic stay!

Gaia's beautiful home high up on the hill was spectacular! The views were incredible, the house was clean and stocked and the outdoor spaces available were perfect : ) Just know that it is a fair walk uphill to get there so if you are wanting to go to the market to stock up on food for the place go first before checking in. Would recommend this property to others and hope to stay again! Gaia was super helpful and sweet too ; )

This is not an 11 minute walk to town! It is a very steep 1/2 mile back up to the apartment from town. You must have a car or be a lot younger and athletic than my husband and I. If we hadn't had our daughter we would have been in worse shape for getting groceries and our bags up.

Outstanding Villa

We stayed for two nights in Gaia’s property, we wished we stayed longer! The house is beautiful and clean and very well equipped. Our group had two couples and we had everything we needed. Gaia was very helpful and communicated very well with us throughout our stay. Check in was very easy. Highly recommend staying at Sunrise Apartments!

Wonderful stay in Monterosso

Gaia was amazing every step of the way with recommendations for a boat tour, calling us a taxi when we needed it, easy check in process, and the house was perfect. It was definitely a major effort to walk home from the beach/town/ restaurants and dangerous for kids with the fast cars but doable and we managed. Taxi is def recommended for going home but walking down hill is doable! It’s a lovely town and we will definitely be back one day!!

Amazing stay in Monterosso, what a breathe of fresh air with euphoric setting

What a beautiful home to stay in just up from the beach as the crowds of the foreshore. Views were amazing, the sounds of the birds and nature was so incredibly peaceful. Gaia was amazing to work things through, available to help us when needed and provided such a clean and wonderful place to stay. We were there for 5 days and you could easily stay longer. Be prepared for a good walk up the hill and steps but a very rewarding opportunity when you get to the top. We had breakfast many times in the sunshine on the balcony and it was a great place to rest each day after walking so much within cinque Terre. Thank you so much Gaia, a magnificent stay in an amazing holiday destination.

The home was beautiful and extremely clean. The views are unbelievable and match the photos. The host communicated to help us navigate to this hidden gem. She also help us to get a boat tour to make our trip even better. Please note that everything is a short walk to get to restaurants and the train station. Visitors should be prepared to walk steep hills and steps necessary to enjoy the incredible view. It took me 25 years to return to Cinque Terre, thank you for a memorable trip of a lifetime.

Great Host and Property

Gaia was a great host. We messaged through What's App about restaurants, gelato, taxi, etc and she was very easy to work with. The property has a great deck, great kitchen, was very clean, and comfortable beds. The breeze you get from the ocean was very lovely. The property is 15 mins walking from the beach. Taxi will charge about 15 euros to drive you. The pro is a peaceful environment with birds chirping, no traffic, and now train sounds. The negative is a lot of walking, uphill. I would definitely stay there again!

Not a great stay

The property was listed with more bedrooms than it actually had so 1 person in our group had to sleep in the living room. There was a miscommunication with the neighbor who threatened me. The host was not professional. The home, otherwise, was nice.

Overall Enjoyable but with some hiccups

While the property and host were lovely, there were some inaccuracies that hindered our experience. Our main reason for selecting this property was because it listed a hot tub as one of the amenities but it failed to have one. The walking distances listed are also misleading. The walk to the beach is 20 minutes (listing says 4 minutes) and very steep. Doable for us, but always drenched in sweat and out of breath when we returned. We also didn't receive check in instructions from our host until we contacted VRBO as we were within 24-hours of arrival.

Lovely apartment, very nice & modern inside and comfortable, with amazing views from the deck. Very responsive and helpful host. It's definitely a steep uphill hike to get from the town to the apartment, but that's the price you pay for the view! Can also take a taxi from the town to the apartment for about 15-20 euros (just make sure they drop you off at the right place, it's further up the hill from the lower B&B il Parco units). Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend this spot!

It was challenging to find the location. The host should’ve have met us. The VRBO location on my app was wrong. You must have a car or use a taxi each time you want to get to the house. It is a very arduous climb. I’m in excellent shape and it was hard. There is a very narrow spiral staircase between the sleeping level and kitchen. Could be dangerous and it was annoying. There was no hot tub or washer As advertised.The view was pretty. Pleasant to sit and have a drink and meats and cheeses.
