Cheerful Family Home in Rural Lancashire
Head down 1/2 mile of unmade farm track and step inside this spectacular farmhouse which offers breathtaking views in all directions and boasts beautiful beams exposed stonework and neutral decor throughout. Bring your walking boots, bikes, paddle boards, & four legged friends because this home from home is all you need for some relaxing fun in the Lancashire countryside.
The space
Upon entering the property youâll find yourself in the dining room. A wonderfully imposing space with vaulted ceilings, a large fire place with wood burning stove and a beautiful live edge dining table. To the left of this room is a large but cosy lounge which is a quieter place where everyone can relax and unwind in front of a second wood burning stove and enjoy a movie and a hot chocolate. Right of the dining room, youâll find the very sociable family kitchen. A large bright open space with several seating areas, The kitchen provides a fusion of stylish and timeless quality farmhouse units along with top-of-the-range appliances to satisfy chefs of all levels and a handy island to sit and enjoy a morning coffee. Boasting an electric 4 oven AGA, seperate electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and wine cooler, you can create delicious meals. Daylight floods into this room via the large bi-fold doors which open to the newly formed patio, continuing the views of the neighbouring fields beyond. Continue the dining and entertaining as the sun sets, fire up the BBQ or simply enjoy a glass of something cold whilst taking in the sights and sounds of the nearby becks and grazing sheep.
A useful utility/boot room provides a washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, freezer and separate WC, and it also gives access to the front of the property if you and your four-legged friends return from your walk a bit muddy!
On the first floor, there are 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom stands alone above the kitchen and itâs here you will find a sumptuous master suite, a super-king-size bedroom with walk in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with shower attachment and WC.
At the opposite end of the house there are three further bedrooms: one super-king-size, one king-size and one double with a single bunk over. To complete the property is a beautiful family bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower and WC.
Swans Farm offers high speed broadband, wireless internet and TV offering most channels. There is also a bluetooth speaker, allowing you to play your favourite music.
The property benefits from ample private parking of at least 4 cars.
