Experience pure relax and fun, immersing yourself in the typical atmosphere of Sicily from times gone by.
Villa Fontana, exceptional for a relaxing holiday, is an ancient residence nestled in a park filled with greenery and centuries-old trees.

The villa is fully air-conditioned (hot/cold), features a large entrance/living room, a spacious, fully equipped eat-in kitchen, three bedrooms with double beds (160x190 cm), and two full bathrooms. There is a laundry room with a washing machine, iron, and ironing board.
The vast outdoor spaces allow for a relaxing summer holiday. The villa has a private swimming pool (open from April 1st to November 2nd, with availability at other times upon request) and a private barbecue area.

Villa Fontana is strategically located for easy access to the sea, natural parks such as Zingaro and the Egadi Islands, and places of great artistic and historical interest such as Segesta, Erice, Marsala, Selinunte, Palermo, Monreale, Trapani, Mothia, San Vito Lo Capo, Scopello, Castellamare del Golfo, and more. It's about 1 km from the sea (with small pebble and rocky beaches), or 15 minutes by car from the beaches of Trapani or Cornino, and 25 minutes from San Vito Lo Capo.

The villa is part of a complex that includes a second, completely separate and independent villa, with which it shares use of part of the park and the laundry room.

We loved the house

Anna and Francesca were great hosts. They were prompt in responding to your questions and made excellent suggestions when it came to places to visit. The property includes a beautiful garden and pool, and we enjoyed both. We highly recommend the property but also want to say again what a joy it was to meet Francesca.

Charming

Beautiful house. Very well maintained. Helpful hosts. Lovely garden. Acs everywhere. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed. Only issue is parking. Streets are very narrow and you need to park very close to the side of the road, which can be tricky, especially with stick shift on a hill. This is, of course, not under the control of the owners, but something to take into account.

Wunderschöne, restaurierte alte Villa am Hang, umgeben von einem botanischen Garten, Zitrus-u. Kakibäumen und einem Olivenhain. Ruhige, abgeschiedene Lage, schöner Pool (nur für Schwimmer! Wassertiefe 1,7 m). Interessante Ausflugsziele in der Nähe: Erice, die Salinen von Trapani und das Naturschutzgebiet Zingalo. Nette Vermieterin.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir waren von Mitte September bis Anfang Oktober Gäste in der Villa Fontana, kurzum gesagt war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Wir kamen erst spät gegen 22.00 Uhr an, im Haus war für uns ein Abendessen aus ortstypischen Spezialitäten vorbereitet. Das Haus und insbesondere der Außenbereich mit Pool haben unsere Erwartungen noch übertroffen. Alles ist in einem guten gepflegten Zustand, ein bis zweimal pro Woche kamen Gärtner und Poolreiniger. Auf dem Grundstück leben einige Katzen, was besonders unsere 5 jährige Tochter gefreut hat. Es gibt einen Außengrill und wir hätten sogar den großen Pizzaofen benutzen dürfen. Unsere Gastgeberinnen Francesca und Maria Christina hatten einige gute Empfehlungen für uns, besonders die Bootstour mit Alessandro ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Auch das hauseigene Olivenöl ist klasse. Wir würden definitiv wieder herkommen, danke Francesca und Christina für die schöne Zeit! Vielen Dank an Francesca und Maria Christina!

a really beautiful place

our family with 4 kids (16-20) enjoyed the stay very much. The villa is just great in the middle of a large beautiful botanical garden with seaview in a quiet atmosphere - like in paradise. What can you expect more? Our host Cristina was extremely helpful and offered some of her own wine and oil - Sicily at it´s best. Salvatore, the gardener, was helpful as well - after our evening outdoor barbecue sessions everything was cleaned when we took our early morning swim - altogether a really good time! Even the surroundings are nice and diverse. The villa is not far to the sea and we also did some nice hike and bike trips.

Lovely Villa in a Great Location

Great communication meant a smooth arrival, an easy hour or so drive from Palermo airport to a friendly welcome. The villa is comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean, the pool was wonderful. In a great location, with easy access to Erice and the coast, and several excellent restaurants. We have no hesitation in recommending Villa Fontana for a relaxing holiday.

Villa splendida per un piacevole weekend di relax

Come quasi tutti gli anni, io e mia moglie siamo tornati a trascorrere un weekend primaverile in questa splendida villa. Che dire, il paesaggio ed il giardino non ci deludono mai, e neanche l'ospitalità delle proprietarie. Quest'anno una piacevole sorpresa: la casa è stata ammodernata ulteriormente con nuovi impianti di riscaldamento e rinfrescamento e con un restyling delle aspetto esterno in piena coerenza con il contesto tipico siciliano ottocentesco. Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole e rilassante, torneremo ancora sicuramente. Un caro saluto a Cristina e Francesca Calogero

Très belle villa dans un beau parc, notre coup de cœur parmi nos locations en Sicile. Nous avons été vraiment bien accueillis par Francesca. Ses conseils avant et durant notre séjour, sa gentillesse, la petite surprise à notre arrivée dans le congélateur. Vraiment c'était top. Une adresse à conserver, une villa plus grande est à louer juste à côté, c'est bon à savoir si nous revenons plus nombreux.

A perfect stay at a classic villa

We loved the entire stay: the house, the grounds, the pool as well as the tips and care offered by Francesca. It is a quiet location and well equipped for cooking. We could see the sunset on the rock at San Vito Lo Capo from the property. Beaches were all within a 30 minute drive. And, Francesca was very resourceful and even helped us resolve a medical problem! In short, we couldn’t have wished for a better week in Trapani, Sicily.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful part of Sicily

This beautiful, historic house was the perfect place for a girls’ getaway to Sicily. The house is spacious and comfortable and the grounds are even more beautiful than in the pictures. Francesca was a delightful host and very helpful and communicative. There are no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance, so a car or a driver is necessary, but Francesca is happy to make all arrangements. We loved our stay overall and would happily go back!

Amazing Villa

Amazing stay. Beautiful surroundings and gardens, with fruit trees and olive trees. Villa was clean and comfortable. The host could not have done more for us. Anything we needed she was at hand to help us. We decided not to drive (in hind sight we probably should have had a car) - as difficult access to most places. However the host helped us with taxis, food delivery and information for the area. Pool was beautiful, quiet and all to ourselves! Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Belle villa dans un environnement magnifique

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Francesca et Cristina. La maison était conforme à sa description. La vue magnifique et le parc très agréable et calme. Un petit bémol était l’accès à l’espace extérieur qui n’était pas de plein pied car le logement est à l’étage mais ce n’était pas non plus très dérangeant. Un petit complément de vaisselle, notamment de verres serait nécessaire pour ne pas avoir à faire tourner le lave vaisselle à chaque repas.

Beautiful villa with amazing garden and pool

We absolutely loved our stay at the villa and everything was perfect: the pool, the garden, the house was spacious and equipped with all the basics (coffee maker, toaster, utensils, pots/pans etc.), the view (of Erice and the sea), and it's centrally located to many attractions in the area. We will highly recommend this little piece of heaven to all of our friends. Most importantly, Francesca was an amazing host - she left us coffee, wine, and pastries to enjoy. (Also, she gave us many recommendations about great restaurants, places, beaches, restaurants, and stores to visit in the area). That was such a nice, sweet touch especially since we arrived on a late Sunday afternoon. Grazie mille!

Location ottima per visitare molti luoghi della provincia, Erice, Segesta, San Vito Lo capo, tutti luoghi a pochi chilometri. Villa confortevole e ben attrezzata. Anche l'area esterna e la piscina hanno un fascino eccezionale. Credo ritornerò a trovarvi! A Presto

Great castle-like villa with lovely grounds and private pool

The villa was huge for the four of us, with a lovely deep pool, set in beautiful gardens which are shared with the second "castle". The two villas are very private though as they each have their own pool set well apart amongst the trees. The trees also provide lots of afternoon shade around the pool. The accommodation is upstairs with lovely views across to Erice and Cofano National Reserve. Parking is on the street but there are no other cars around so not a problem at all. Francesca was great, providing us plenty of information about the local beaches, attractions, restaurants and supermarkets as well as some tasty local treats! Wifi worked fine and the three double bedrooms had air-conditioning that worked well. Some of the furniture could do with updating but did not detract from this being a great family villa and we had a lovely relaxing week.
