Pretty Stone House in the mountains of the Livrodoise Forez with beautiful views

The cottage has been fully restored and is very comfortable, light and airy. It has a large living room with kitchen/dining area and a large fireplace with a woodburner(wood supplied).

There is a television, video and music system. The kitchen is fully equipped with a calor gas cooker, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer and microwave and there is also an automatic washing machine.

There are 3 bedrooms all with exposed beams, 2 double and 1 single-plus travel cot. All are supplied with continental quilts and pillows. Linen and towels are available if required for a small charge. 1 of the double bedrooms has an en suite bathroom/w.c and there is a seperate shower room/w.c upstairs. There is also a downstairs toilet

There are large terraces at the front and back of the cottage and a very large back garden with water feature and childrens swings. There is a comfortable garden room with 3 piece suite and dining table and chairs. In the detached barn opposite the front of the house there is wood for the woodburner. In the middle section of the barn are comfortable sun loungers and garden chairs.

Upstairs in the barn there is table tennis,darts, small snooker table plus equipment for playing tennis, badminton, boules, skittles and other games. There is a small terrace behind the barn with stunning views over distant mountains- perfect for eating your evening meals whilst watching the magnificent sunsets. There are games, jigsaws, plenty of books and magazines and a box of toys in the house.

There is a folder of information in the cottage – where to shop, useful telephone numbers, places to visit, walks, markets etc. The cottage is cleaned and the grass is cut (weather permitting) on the day that you arrive. Changeover day is Saturday. Gas, electricity and wood for the woodburner is included in the price.
