Other activities available locally include Go Ape, an 18-hole golf course and water sports on the nearby Loch Ard.

There is a bus link to Glasgow and a seasonal local bus which runs between Aberfoyle and Callander via the popular Dukes Pass Hill road and Loch Katrine (Steam Ship Sir Walter Scott).

Ideal as a touring base, Aberfoyle has a central location – an hour from Glasgow and Edinburgh and 30 minutes from Stirling.
