Incredible staff that made the trip easy and relaxed
The staff, Dek and Gede made our Holiday.-Dek was incredible, helpful, kind, and considerate. It was sad leaving her.-Gede the property manager went above and beyond to ensure our villa was to what we needed, orgnaising pool fencing, set up balloon and even got a cake and flowers for the birthday girl.-The location was nice, easy to walk to food and stores, easy to get a cab elsewhere.Negatives: the neighbours. Oh gosh, it made me anxious and felt I could not relax. Next door was another villa complex, possibky 2-3 homes that could see directly to our yard, pool, living area and one room. This was not too bad, however we had 3 noise complaints during our stay which was disappointing. We had 8 children aged 3-12 years with us, we spent at most 1 hour in the pool in tje morning (between hours of 7:30-10am) and in the late afternoon up to an hour. The rest of the time we were out enjoying Bali. Two different afternoons, we had been in the pool approx 30 minutes we had a neighbour complain about the noise with the kids just playing, i dont feel we were in the pool and loud enough to warrant that. On our last night, the stall up the street were letting off fire works in a vacant block, we decided to purchase 4 fireworks and do this as well, in the vacant block, approx 2 minutes of noise from us, we received a phone call instantly. I think some sort of arrangement needs to be made with the neighbours as we certainly werent loud, or even at the villa long.
