Located in the quiet hamlet of Folleville less than 30 minutes drive to Mont St Michel and beautiful beaches. Supermarket and boulangerie only 2km away.

Les Moulins Farmhouse sleeps 8 people and has it's own private patio/terrace area with BBQ. This property has a well equipped kitchen and an open plan living/dining area with French and English FreeSat TV and DVD player. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Les Moulins - and our other 2 gites on the same site - is set in grounds of 1 acre with an open-air swimming pool, sun loungers, pool cabin. PLEASE NOTE: The swimming pool (10mx5m) is only open between 8th June and 13th September.


Other facilites are: Games Room with full-sized pool table, dart board, TV/DVD facilities and a selection of DVD's, There are bicycles of various sizes suitable for all ages. There is also a boule pitch and parking.
A full size cot, Travel cots, high chairs, stair-gates and bed-guard are available for you to use.

Great holiday

We had a great holiday @ Les Moulins. And Allison made it comfortable and helped us all the way. The weather was not that good but the environment and visits were lovely!

Family stay

The owner showed us around the property on arrival which was spacious / clean. Games room / swimming pool were extensively used too. Close to amenities and attractions (extensive supply of leaflets etc).

Beautiful house, beautiful. A really lovely place.

We really enjoyed our stay in Les Moulins. The house is really charming and comfortable and the pool and gardens are fantastic. It's so relaxing and safe and family-friendly. With small children, it makes life much easier when the pool gate can be locked and they can't wander over towards it. We loved the whole area too, plenty to do and see. Our kids had a ball and we had a wonderful holiday. We'll definitely be back!

Simply fantastic. A very, very special place.

Wonderful house, fantastic location and a beautiful pool. Les Moulins is absolutely fantastic. The house itself is beautiful, so comfortable and charming, with plenty of room so well kitted out. Extremely child-friendly, especially the pool area. It's so safe and secure behind the (locked) gates when you're not using it. We had a fantastic time. We loved it, the kids loved it and we are definitely coming back next year. There's loads to do and see in the area and it's so convenient for the beaches, Mont St Michel, etc. Alison and Malcolm are so kind and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the place is so welcoming and lovely.

We recently stayed at this property in France. Unfortunately, our experience was mixed.There was no WiFi during our stay – this had been explained to us as being out of the owners’ control, but it was still inconvenient. The pool was advertised as heated, but it was cold. While the pool area was clean, we noticed nails sticking up on the tiles and the patio furniture was in poor condition.The property itself felt in need of updating and had a musty smell. Safety was also a concern: the steps into the house and patio were uneven, the stairs to the first floor had no handrail, and the steep steps to the attic bedroom were more like a ladder, again with no rail for support. The fan in the attic room didn’t work, and the shower door didn’t close properly.We also found the owners rather distant – apart from informing us about the WiFi issue, there wasn’t much interaction, and it would have been nice to have some local recommendations.Overall, while the property has potential, it would benefit from maintenance, safety improvements, and more attentive hosting.

Paradise in Brittany

We recently spent an unforgettable ten days at The Gites of Brittany with the most wonderful hosts Alison and Malcolm. The traditional home in Folleville, Brittany truly exceeded all our expectations, as did our hosts. Nestled in a beautiful rural hamlet, the location couldn't have been more perfect for our family of six. The serene surroundings offered a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing us to unwind and connect with our hosts and neighbors and enjoy the beautiful countryside. The House was beautifully appointed and everything you could possibly want was at hand. Alison and Malcolm have thought of everything to make this a home from home. Le Moulins is truly paradise in Brittany. Alison and Malcolm are the most amazing and interesting hosts and Alison has the uncanny talent of always being there, without being there. A talent which many hosts do not possess. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the amazing pool. It provided endless hours of fun and entertainment for the kids and a refreshing way for all of us to enjoy the warm sunshine. When not touring in Brittany and Normandy, we spent hours splashing in the pool and relaxing, making cherished memories together to be remembered for many years to come. The Pool area is Beautifully maintained and the games room has a pool table and many games to enjoy. Overall Folleville was nothing short of Magical, We can't wait to Return soon. Tom. Ireland

Un peu déçu mais convenable

Mon groupe d’amis et moi souhaitions séjourner dans ce gîte pour le week-end. Nous avions vu sur les photos et la description qu’il y avait une piscine, du mobilier de jardin, un barbecue et des espaces extérieurs pour se poser, ce qui nous a motivé à réserver. Toutefois une fois sur place, la piscine était inaccessible à cette période de l’année, le barbecue inutilisable avec la pluie, le mobilier extérieur inexistant et la salle de billard très froide. Nous avons donc demandé d’annuler la réservation qui n’était pas conforme à nos attentes. La propriétaire a été tout à fait à l’écoute et bienveillante et a accepté d’annuler. Merci à elle pour sa disponibilité et son accueil malgré notre déception.

Absolument formidable !

Je suis venue passer mon weekend d'anniversaire dans le gîte ",Les Moulins" d'Alison. Nous avons passé des moments inoubliables dans ce lieu très cocooning à la décoration soignée !! 🤩 La piscine et la salle de jeux sont des atouts indéniables !! La gérante est très chaleureuse. Elle informe amplement sur au niveau des commerces et des lieux à visiter. Elle peut même fournir des repas. Fantastic week in the beautiful countryside

Idyllic week in this stunning, peaceful gite. Fabulous location for local villages or stunning coast. (or a day chilling by the pool). Wonderful holiday enjoyed by all..from 5year old to gran. We loved busy site seeing days and visiting local markets for amazing fresh produce. Would definitely return. Thank you Alidon and Malcolm for your hospitality.

Séjour au top

Accueil chaleureux de notre hôte: Allison. Rien ne manque dans ce petit cocon. Allison prend un soin particulier de ses invités pour leur permettre de profiter au mieux de leur séjour. La maison était équipée dans son moindre détail. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir!
