ABOUT THE HOUSE:
'Villa Sunset' is an outstanding house located in a quiet area - The Pinhal Golf Course. The house has 4 bedrooms (3 en-suite), 4 bathrooms and it is located near the 2 biggest supermarkets: Pingo Doce (500 meters) and Continente (800 meters).

The Villa is very sunny and has a special atmosphere created by the green environment and spectacular private pool. The patio is equipped with a BBQ and a covered dining area facing the garden: more than 2500 square meter fenced and secured. The home is also child-friendly as we have cots.

There is free WI-FI available, cable TV (NOS) and a fireplace that is possible to enjoy both from the living room and dining room, which is next to the kitchen. All the rooms have air conditioning. You can bring your well-educated pet :)

Expect to reach the wonderful FALESIA beach in only 5 minutes driving but there are many other beaches that you can explore like the Marina Beach, Fonte Santa or Ançao beach. The very modern marina of Vilamoura is also located very close to the Falesia Beach. You can find in that zone many bars, shops, restaurants, casino and disco clubs.

Enjoy the food on amazing restaurants, the water parks like Zoo Marine (5m driving from the villa), Jeep safaris and sailing trips. Taxis are reasonable.

Sunset Villa belongs to a private family and we assure that you won't regret to choose it for your perfect holiday.

Our pool can be heated for a Extra price of 400 Euros per week,or 300 Euros for 4 days on demand.

ABOUT VILAMOURA:

If you like to party, you can always find many clubs like blackjack and many others.

From July to September, Vilamoura will be very crowded as it is the high season. It is definitely a very trendy destination known for its high-quality services.

Everything is within walking distance or short driving distance including beach, marina, golfs, shops, bars, casino, restaurants and supermarket.

Family holiday

The villa and grounds were great, the local host was fantastic, very helpful. One of the best villas we have stayed in, lovely grounds and large pool, having a nearly 3 year old with us the trees and shade in parts of the garden worked a treat. Shopping was nearby a 15 min walk, local Uber were great and cheap. All in all a wonderful holiday.

What a place!

We were 9 people staying at this beautful property for one week. 5 kids (4-15) and 4 adults. We had a great stay, the villa and the property had everything we could ask for. Especially the size of the garden is great when staying with kids. We used the pool, the table tennis and the BBQ place a lot. 5 minutes with car to the beach. We would not hesitate to recommend this property, and would absolutely concider staying there again.

A stunning villa and gardens

The villa is beautiful, very comfortable and well maintained. The pool and gardens are exceptional . Our party consisted of adults and small children aged 4, 2 and1 and we all had a lovely holiday. The marina is a 25 minute walk but if you are tired then the taxis are always available. The owner and her representatives were extremely helpful. All in all a great holiday!

Beautiful villa and surroundings

A fantastic week spent at sunset villa. Host Alice could not have been more attentive even posting somethinf back to us that we had lwft behind! Alice ensured check in smooth and was available via whatsapp for any queries if needed. The villa and grounds are stunning amd well maintained. There is a good mix of sun and shade in the garden which we found perfect and lots of outside furniture to relax on. The marina is about a 25minute walk. Most evenings we walked down then got a taxis home later (Taxis rank at marina, great availability and approx €6) BBQ and great outdoor dining area which we utilised. Large supermarket -5min drive. Wonderful week- would would highly recommend!

Nice but quite dated and somewhat misleading re the extra cost to heat the pool

The grounds of the property are beautiful but the interior is quite used and needs to be updated. Furthermore it was advertised as having a heated pool but a few days before our rental was due to begin, I was informed that heating the pool would cost €400 extra. Unfortunately we also had a lot of ants on the paths around the garden and they eventually made their way into the house. Our landlord did try to manage the situation but it was challenging. The landlord is very responsive and quite pleasant to deal with overall.

Dear James, This review was a complete shock to us due to the lack of true.This guest didn’t read the listing description where it says loud and clear that the pool is heatable not heated, for the extra price of …..Before arrival we always contact the guest asking if he would like the pool to be heated and the price envolved. About the simplicity of the decorations, and the existence of some old pieces that we love and give caracter to the house one must have some culture and sensibility in order to understand it. This is a beach house not a seven star accommodation.As a matter of fact we are always trying to improve the facilities in the house and buying new decorations for the guests.What you call used others call beautiful.Anyway this is our family perspective and interpretation. About ants in the garden, it’s absolutely normal, after all we are in a green zone. However our gardener took some actions immediately and we had no more complaints or even were informed about ants in the house!! Finally I must say that this guest was very demanding and we try to give him the best we could regarding informations, and assistance during the stay. And despite all this we reviewed the guest with 5 star .

Springtime sizzler - glorious family villa

Without hesitation, we would recommend this villa for a family holiday. It did what it said on the tin!! A first-rate villa, highly recommend. Bags of space indoor and outside with ample parking space. The gardens are extensive and well-maintained, lush with trees and shrubs, the lawns are watered by night sprinklers. Ample room for children to play safely. The swimming pool is full sized, more than adequate for even the most capable swimmers. Lit at night for late swimming. Steps at one end lead directly to waste-high depth and the deep end allows under-water swimming. Extensive tiled areas outside and tiled flooring inside. A broad spiral staircase led to the second floor. 3 of the bedrooms had large ensuites, comfortable beds and ample storage. The lounging area was large enough for multi activities as might be necessary for large families. Variety of television channels is limited though we didn't want to watch much anyway. There were various games in a cupboard, essential for wet days. There was a very efficient hot-air blower in the lounge. The dining room was delightful, with entrance onto the patio-dining area of the garden. Adjoining it, but separate was a large, functional kitchen with 3 fridge-freezers, and large work-surface. Ample modern appliances. Customer service was excellent. On our first night there was someone to run us to the supermarket for our initial provisions. Also, my son had an ear -infection and without hesitation, he was taken to the nearest pharmacy, and next morning, was offered to be taken to the hospital. We only had to ask. There were ample towels, drying towels and the sheets were renewed regularly. Anything we needed for the baby or toddler was provided. Location is in a very quiet area, about 20 minutes from the marina. Ask for the short-cut. A car would be useful though we chose to walk despite having a baby and two children under 6. There are many super restaurants and coffee-houses at the marina. the English breakfast on offer in many establishments for 5 euros are excellent. The Roman ruins at the far end of the marina are worth visiting.

Estupendas vacaciones en familia !

Wonderful Family Holiday

It is an excellent property with a huge garden and lovely pool area. Nice Open plan living room & lovely outdoor dining area. Bedrooms are all you would need. Great holiday in peaceful setting

Sunset Vila is a beautiful property with plenty of space in a peaceful setting with a very pleasant pool and large garden. The house is super comfortable and has a homely feel to it and the host is fantastic. Alice is super responsive and was always available to sort out anything that we needed help with quickly and efficiently. The only thing we would have appreciated would have been perhaps more choice of cafes and restaurants in walking distance however its the trade off for being in such a peaceful part of Vilamoura so we were quite happy (and ordered lots of takeout)! We can’t wait to return to this beautiful property again!

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Villa Sunset. From the start of booking process to arrival and check in, Alice has been extremely quick in her replies. We called Isabel the housekeeper once we were leaving the airport and she was at the Villa with the keys and showed us around. The Villa is very big and has everything you would need. 2 large fridges were a bonus with 7 adults staying in the villa, one for the food and one for the beer & wine and water. The outside grounds and pool area are fabulous always areas of sun and shade throughout the whole day, so great for if you want to get out the sun for a while. We made use of the BBQ twice during our stay, and the table tennis had a lot of use, including beer pong a couple of evenings! We had a couple of small issues whilst there but a text to Alice and Isabel was there to help and sort out the problems. The Villa is a ten minute walk to the supermarket and approximately a steady 30 minute walk to the Marina. We used Uber taxi's in the evening to get back as they were cheap only 5 euro's. All in all we had a really lovely stay, should we return to Vilamoura, we would definitely return to Villa Sunset.

Blissful stay in Vilamoura

This was our Fourth time to stay in a villa in this area of Vilamoura and this was the best. Excellent accommodation and well equipped kitchen but it’s the outside space that makes it exceptional. The pool , garden, seated patio area for lunch, barbecue were greatly enjoyed by my family. All arrangements went smoothly and Alice and Isabel couldn’t have been more helpful. And the weather was perfect!

Stunning garden and pool area

We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at villa sunset. From the moment we arrived we were treated so well so much so we was leant a car to make our way to the local supermarket whilst we waited for the villa to be cleaned. Any time we wanted some help with something Alice was a message away and always very quick to reply and help with what ever we asked. The garden at villa Sunset is spectacular with enough sun and shade for all the family as well as enough room for seven and eight year old boys to run around and play. The position of the villa is very convenient 5 minutes from the marina and beach by taxi and a 10 minute walk to the supermarket . I can’t recommend this villa and Alice as an owner highly enough. Great villa Great location

Family of 4 just arrived home after spending 2 super weeks in this fantastic villa. The location is ideal for both Vilamoura and Quarteria, both walkable in about 20mins. The villa itself is situated in a nice quiet location. The garden is the best you'll find and our 2 children loved playing outside where you could always find a nice shady spot to escape the afternoon sun. The villa has a nice homely feel to it and we were certainly very comfortable. I'd highly reccomend both villa sunset and the area in general Gareth.

Stunning Villa

Great location in a nice quiet spot. Well laid out villa for families with children or a group of people. We went as 3 family couples and had a great time.

bon sejour

nous avons passés un bon séjour seul petit bémol la villa aurai besoin d'un rafraîchissement , la piscine est trop froide et pas assez filtée eau sale et carrelage manquant au fond nous n'avons pas pu en profiter. heureusement le temps était splendide . la concierge est très gentille et efficace
