In 2022 the owners were awarded a 2 star classification by the Périgord Limousin Tourist Office.
Maple Tree is a two-bedroom Gîte and was once a bakery with bread oven and the stables for the animals. Built now as a traditional stone Gîte, it has large open plan kitchen, dining and lounge, two bedrooms and a large bathroom.
The first bedroom has a double bed and large wardrobe. The second bedroom has bunkbeds and a chest of drawers. There is a bathroom with a modern shower, toilet and vanity unit and all bed linen, dressing gowns and towels are provided.
The outside space comprises of an undercover seating area and is next to the flower garden. There is a sun terrace which enjoys full sun all day.
Set in the North Dordogne region of the stunning Périgord Vert National Park, Havre de Paix Gites offer space to simply relax and enjoy lazing by the pool or gazing at the stars & scenery from the private wood fired hot tub.
Peaceful yet perfectly located within easy reach of many places of interest, we are in the ideal spot for you to have the best of both worlds making your holiday exactly what you want it to be.

Zu Gast bei Sarah Sweeting
Sarah & my husband Mick Sweeting are from England and bought Havre De Paix Gites in July 2022. So we are pretty new to the area but have fallen in love with it. Mick, previously a landscape gardener & fireman, his love of gardening is clear to see from our gorgeous grounds & vegetables patches. Sarah was a chef in UK and now runs a busy little cafe only 15 minutes from the Gites.

Given its climate and lush landscapes, Périgord Vert is a fantastic area for outdoor lifestyles, nature enthusiasts and anyone interested in ecological living and green tourism. Its landscapes are sprinkled with picture-perfect villages, lazy rivers, vineyards and dense woodlands filled with deer, boar and birds of prey. It’s renowned as being unspoilt, reminiscent of Scotland – but with far better weather!
