Our adult family was in London to celebrate my husband’s milestone birthday, it was our first time in London. We had a delightful stay thanks to the great accommodations and its charming quiet neighborhood. The 3 bedrooms and 3 baths allowed everyone to have their own privacy and extra space to relax. The upstairs eat-in kitchen area was perfect for group breakfasts and late night card games. To see the London sights, we headed into town via the double decker red bus line 87 with a very close bus stop - public transportation (buses or the Tube) within London is extremely easy and affordable. The neighborhood near the flat had charming coffee shops and breakfast places, delicious pizza and fabulous burgers at a nearby pub if you don’t feel like cooking. If you choose to eat at the flat we found several small convenience stores or a larger ASDA and Wholefoods all within a short walk. Our host was quick to respond to our questions and the flat provided us with everything we needed to make our trip comfortable and memorable.
London offers many great things to do and see. Besides the many historical sights the city has to offer we enjoyed Indian food at Dishoom, Chinese food at Er Mei in Chinatown, High tea at the Dalloway Terrace, lunch at the original Hard Rock Cafe, a trip to Harrods Department store, and taking in the show TINA at Aldwych Theatre. Be sure to pack comfy shoes along with an umbrella as the weather is quite dynamic. Can’t wait to stay here again.
