Helford at Forda Lodges and Cottages

2 bedroom self-catering lodge on a small privately owned site. 10 minutes to the nearest beach, 5 miles from Bude and right on the Devon/Cornwall border. Amenities on site are exclusively for guests and include indoor heated indoor swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court, coarse fishing in 4 ponds, games room, children's play area, giant chess - all set in 17 acres of glorious Cornish countryside. Spa treatments and complementary therapies are available on site.

The space
Helford lodge is one of our two bedroomed, Scandinavian influenced holiday lodges with a fresh and modern interior outlook over Lamberal water and bottom lake. It has its own private patio & allocated parking.

Renovated in 2022, the accommodation is arranged over two floors. The spacious ground floor consists of an open plan living and kitchen area. The fully equipped kitchen includes single oven and electric hob, integrated fridge, freezer and dishwasher, microwave. There is a 43″ smart TV with DVD player in the living area.

The bathroom, with bath and shower over the bath, is situated downstairs.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: one double and one twin. A cot or extra bed can be added by request to either room or downstairs.

Helford is light and airy in summer and warm and cosy in winter, using the latest infra-red heating panels downstairs and electric convection heaters in the bedrooms – perfect for holidays at any time of the year.

Helford has a patio area with a table and seating. Guests may make use of either a gas or charcoal barbecue during their stay.

Baby/toddler equipment, including cot, highchair, bedguards and stairgate, is available on request.

Parking for one car is available in front of the lodge (less than 50 metres from the lodge). There is additional free parking elsewhere on the site.
