Nothing like advertised
The flat was filthy and very poorly equipped. The bin had not been emptied, the toilet seat was broken and it was obvious that the place had not been cleaned before our arrival. There was not enough cutlery for our party of 3. I sent 2 emails to the managing agents and did not receive a reply.

We have photos of the property before and after the guests staying in our property and we have photos showing the property was indeed cleaned. The toilet seat we apologise of being not in best condition and was already replaced. The bins were emptied I believe there was a tissues that we apologise that was an person doing an inspection and out team didn't notice them putting the tissue in the bin. The emails were always answered. Cuttlery there was and is enough for the max amount of guests stated online. You can ask us during the stay where to find more and we will either show you where to find or send someone to provide you with some. Flat unfit for purpose
This property looks nothing like the photos. The kichen was a disgrace, the oven, although new was not connected so we could not cook or use the grill, no toaster. We ate out for every meal and stayed out all day until late. Kitchen window was nailed closed. The toilet was broke, the front door to the flat was disgraceful, holes in it. I have lots of photos which i would be happy to share. This flat is in no way cosy, the views are of council flats, some boarded up. Basically it was a dump, i wonder if anybody from VRBO has ever checked it. Sorry for the review but you ask for honesty. A young family or elderly could not use this flat.

As for the oven there is a button that has to be turned on in order to have the oven working this could have been asked directly to us during the stay. We will verify the kitchen window as was never mentioned. The door does not have a hole but part that the lock is the wood doesn't look the best as we had to replace the lock, but is fully secure and locks very tight. We had from groups to family to elderly in several times and was no issues. We apologise that you didn't feel comfortable letting us know about the issues as they arose as we could have addressed these for you promptly during your stay. We would like to assure you that we are always available to address any concerns our guests may have. We regret that we were unable to assist you in this regard and will take steps to ensure that we are better equipped to handle similar situations in the future.

Great location, but run down
The listing said it had 2 king size beds, a sofa bed and a washing machine which were things that mattered a lot to us since my family of 5 was traveling. This was not the case. The bedrooms actually had double beds, the washine machine didn't work (we were told after we asked that it was up for repair) and despite asking many times, a blanket was never brought for my son who was on the sofa bed. He ended up using small travel blankets that we had brought for the plane.
The lock on the door was super sketchy and didn't feel safe at all. Also, the bathroom had moldy caulking, and the linoleum in the kitchen was pushed up in a lot of areas. Looked like whoever put the washing machine in place pushed it and tore up the flooring and pushed it up.
The location was great for going to the Fringe festival, but with all the other issues and the flat not matching the description at all, I wouldn't stay here again.
