We are premier Hosts for our previous property.
Duquesa Fairways is a first floor, stylish and spacious, fully air conditioned (hot and cold) apartment located on a beautiful resort surrounded by lush tropical gardens. It has two fantastic swimming pools (one heated) so can be used all year round, There is also a communal toilet area and changing room which services both pool areas.
The apartment boasts wonderful views and has 2 terraces, front and back so sun all day. The main terrace overlooks the beautiful gardens and swimming pools and views beyond and is fully equipped for al fresco dining. It is also a perfect spot to seek some welcome shade from the heat of the day.The second South facing terrace off one of the bedrooms gets the sun all day and is perfect for both sunbathing.
Inside the apartment you will find everything you need to enjoy a full 'home from home' holiday experience with comfortable and modern furnishings and a full list of kitchen appliances and utensils. There is an excellent WiFi , TV to access, Netflix, Amazon etc, we bring our firestick to access all UK channels. We can help with extra needs such as travel cots etc.
The apartment also comes with intercom entry and secure underground car parking with lift access to all floors .
The select area is a safe area and you can walk to bars and restaurant set around a small square. This is about 10 minutes walk away. A further 10 minutes walk takes you to the beach and La Duquesa Port with a host of restaurants of all nationalities. Just a few minutes by car. The beach has several chiringuitos some open all year round. Taxi to and from the apartment if you need one are a few euros.
Down at the port you can book a fishing charter, go dolphin watching or enjoy the vast array of bars and restaurants. There are also shops, a mini market, takeaways and a taxi rank. Lidl, Mercadona and SuperSol are close by. Kelly's bar in the nearby square offers to sell essentials. Just ask if you need items such as bread, milk etc when you arrive.
There are many fine beaches walking in either direction from the marina, including Las Arenas, El Negro, Los Toros, El Castillo and Sabinillas which all boast their very own Chirunguitos (beach bars) and a great promenade. El Castillo is a 10 minute walk beyond the port and is an authentic village on the coast with great fish restaurant and several bars and restaurants. Well worth a visit.
For the golfers a fantastic choice of quality courses are very close to hand, as well as Duquesa golf, there are the courses of Dona Julia, Casares, Finca Cortesin and Valle Romano golf just to the east and Real Club De Golf, La Reserva, San Roque and Almenara Golf resort to the west. There is also the venue for the 1997 Ryder Cup and world renowned course of Valderrama just a few kms away in nearby Sotogrande.
You are ideally located to spend time further along the coast in Marbella, Puerto Banus, Estepona, Sotogrande and Tarifa or venture into the mountains to visit the spectacular historic city of Ronda (75 kms) or the beautiful 500 metre high village of Benahavis (30kms). Alternatively, you can travel 35 kms west and take a trip by cable car up to the top of the Rock of Gibraltar and take in the views across the Strait of Gibraltar to Morocco, visit the limestone caves of St Michael ‘s and see the only wild monkey population in Europe, the Barbary macaque apes.
Duquesa Fairways is close to a good local bus route from which you can easily travel east or west to places like Estepona or Gibraltar and we are also conveniently located for both Malaga airport (approx 1 hour) and Gibraltar airport (approx 35 minutes).

We chose a property in this location as everything was in easy walking distance. Walking distance to bars and restaurants in a small square, about 12 minutes and a further 10 -12 minutes to La Duquesa Port with numerous restaurants and bars for all tastes. Beach and chiringuitos along from the port and weather lovely from March through to November on the beach!!
