Perched high above the rolling hilltops of Provence, Villa Bois D’Olivier is a beautifully positioned retreat surrounded by fragrant herb gardens, with a private pool nestled just below the villa. Reached via the sweeping, winding villages of Provence, the property is under one hour from Nice Airport and just 20 minutes from Seillans, officially voted one of the most beautiful villages in France.
The villa is ideally located 35 minutes from Fréjus & St-Raphaël, minutes from local vineyards, and just one hour from the breathtaking Gorges du Verdon — perfect for exploring the very best of the region.
The Space:
Inside, the villa’s heart is the expansive open-plan living area, offering a cool and comfortable space to relax away from the sun. Characterful features include original wooden beams, a large feature fireplace, a mezzanine, and an additional snug — ideal for families or larger groups. Air conditioning is available throughout the property, ensuring comfort during the warmer months.
Adjacent to the living area is the well-equipped kitchen and dining area, ideal for preparing large meals and hosting relaxed dinners. The dining table comfortably seats up to 10 guests, while large French doors open directly onto the garden and pool terrace.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms:
- The master bedroom features a luxurious emperor-size bed
- Four further bedrooms are configured as double or king
- All bedrooms open directly onto the terrace via French doors, surrounding the garden area
- Newly renovated bathrooms and en-suites throughout
- Two bedrooms include a private sink and shower
Outdoor Living:
The outdoor terrace and pool area have recently undergone renovation, creating a beautiful setting designed for relaxed Provençal living. Alongside shaded outdoor dining for 8 guests, the garden features a large, fully equipped outdoor kitchen, perfect for BBQs, preparing meals, and serving drinks while enjoying long summer evenings.
The pool area is complete with sun loungers, parasols, and relaxed seating, offering both sun and shade for leisurely days by the water.
Please note: the pool is closed annually from 1st September to 1st May.
Guest Access:
Guests will have sole access to the entirety of the property.
The Neighborhood:
The neighbourhood is rural and quiet with lots of walks nearby, there are neighbours however you would not realise. There is a local market on Saturdays, local vineyards and horse riding nearby. You can easily get to local town, vineyards, villages, restaurants, beaches and lakes by car within 30-1hr max.
The villa is located 35 minutes drive from Frejus & Saint Raphael, 15 minutes from various Vineyards and 1 hour from Gorge Du Verdon.
Getting Around:
We have on-site parking, lots of walks and cycling nearby.
Other Things to Note:
There is a child's play area that you can use throughout your stay. This is close to our chicken-fed shelter. Because of this we ask that children are kept under supervision while playing in this area and we ask that you please do not go into the chicken-fed. Our housekeeper checks in and manages their feeding however if you did want some fresh eggs while staying with us do let us know when staying with us.
Please note the pool is not heated and from September 1st to May 1st of each year the pool is closed.
Please note we do not provide pool towels so please do bring your own.
Please do not move furniture around when staying with us.
