The property is lovely. Parking was easy and convenient. Being just outside of town, it was simple to drive into town. You could walk, just be careful on the road. As it it just is in old home in Europe, there are stairs and they are steep so be aware if you are not able to negotiate tight steep stairs. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are quite big. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looked very easy to use and make meals should that be what you want to do on vacation. We would stay again, it was comfortable and inviting.

A lovely relaxing stay

A very comfortable house with a gorgeous lounge. The kitchen’s well equipped, but could do with a bigger fridge (especially if staying for a week) The hosts were really helpful.

A lovely stay

The Old Farmhouse is a lovely property close to Bourton on the Water but away from the crowds. Beautiful walks nearby and the atmosphere of the house is calming and serene. A perfect few days in a glorious place.

Cotswolds Family Vacation

The Farmhouse was perfect for our vacation in the Cotswolds. It was very close to Bourton-on-the-Water and just as quaint and beautiful without the crowds. The house was perfect for our family of 5 and the kitchen was well stocked for what we needed. We highly recommend this beautiful home.

We stayed here for my mums 60th Birthday, the kitchen was really well equipped and the beds were very comfortable! Great location, very close to Bourton and Stow. Highly reccomend

Lovely weekend in perfect traditional Cotswold cottage

We had a lovely weekend in the Old Farmhouse. It was tastefully decorated and full of beautiful traditional features such as the long burner and beams, the attic bedroom and en-suite are particularly stunning. The underfloor heating in the kitchen was very welcome when we came in from the cold. The bedding and towels were good quality and the beds comfortable. The welcome gifts left were much appreciated as were the basic supplies of tea, coffee and milk. The location is just a 5 minute drive into the lovely Bourton on Water which has lots of nice places to eat and Birdland is well worth a visit.

The Old Farmhouse

The Old Farmhouse is a comfortable, spacious property close to Bourton on the Water, which we walked to. We really recommend it, but you need a car as you are near many interesting/ pretty Cotswold villages /towns but they are not within walking distance. Lovely stay to visit Cotswolds

The cottage was really nice as it looks in the pictures. Great location to visit Cotswolds. Bourton-on-the-water is just 5 minutes far and the most of the villages are reachable in a very short time. The kitchen is fully equipped and the owners greeted us with a welcome gift. It was a very lovely stay and we surely recommend it.
