Luxury Countryside Retreat House with Hot Tub, Yoga Studio & Fire Pit

Set in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, this magical barn has been newly renovated in a modern bohemian style with a Mediterranean feel.

Owned by home-wellbeing brand, The House of Boheme, the interiors have been thoughtfully curated to create a relaxing Sanctuary, using only natural materials.

The space has been designed with retreats in mind. From the fully equipped yoga and meditation studio, to the cushion filled ‘Zen Den’, the waterside fire pit, to the hammocks swaying amongst the trees, there are endless opportunities to switch off and find your calm. A menu of additional bookings is provided in advance to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including yoga, meditation or gong bath classes, massages and private chefs.

The 1.5 acre gardens and surrounding area offer the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature. Muntjacs stroll past the windows, while bunnies play in the grass, as well as kingfishers in the large pond and tropical birds that fly past. At night you can star gaze and enjoy the sound of nothing but wildlife, perhaps from the comfort of the wooden hot tub.

The house is set in a tiny village, but surrounded mainly by fields, woodland and beautiful country walks. Four electric bikes are provided to go exploring. Although you feel very much in a countryside setting, the quaint city of Norwich is only a 20 minute drive away for shopping, restaurants, cinemas or the famous ‘pub and paddle’.

In the local area, there are two countryside pubs, one a 4 minute walk from the house, the other a 5 minute drive. There is a lovely farm shop and cafe called The Goat Shed in walking distance for food and amenities, as well as a gorgeous cafe and homewares store called The Painted Barn just a 5 minute drive away.

We are a 2 hour drive from London (or train and taxi via Norwich). The Norfolk coastline is 40 mins drive away to a vast array of beaches, two of our favourites being Holkham and Cromer.
