Regular Food & Gift Fairs are held in the village, where one may peruse a wonderful assortment of stalls selling cheese, preserves, jewellery, and crafts, to mention a few. The village's most famous sight, Nicky Nook, is located in its rear, making it a great starting point for exploring the rest of Lancashire. You may go fishing in the area at Wyreside Lake, Cleveley Mere, and the River Wyre. Garstang, just a few miles up the road, is known for being the first Fairtrade town in the world and is famed for its great local products and many street markets. Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve, Morecambe Bay, Blackpool, Lancaster, Kirkby Lonsdale, Kendal, and Windermere are all within driving distance and provide a variety of activities to keep you engaged.
