We enjoyed our stay in this cute apartment just down the street from the historic center of Florence and all the designer shops. The apartment has beautiful design details and AC in each room which was so nice in the summer. The owner was very accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived several hours before check in. I took one star off due to some maintenance and cleaning issues, but they were quickly resolved by the friendly property manager who lives in the same building. Please note in Italy the street level is floor 0 not floor 1 like in the US. Thus, this 3rd floor apartment was up four flights of stairs and there is no elevator. It was fine for us, but something to keep in mind for those with mobility problems. Overall, it was a good value and I would stay here again.

I was expecting a lot from this place by the pictures on site. The description does not indicate that this is a third floor walk up (no elevator). Totally fine but would have been nice to know. We were greeted upon arrival by a man who helped us into the apartment…he buzzed us in & then met us at the door. So, the apartment itself is very nice & spacious. However, the kitchen was not restocked with clean sponges to wash dishes nor a clean dish towel (a dirty one was there). The freezer was not working and had water in the compartments. The cabinet doors were dirty as were each of the bedroom & bathroom doors. Do not walk around barefoot as I don’t think the floors have been cleaned in some time. When we were finally getting to bed, one bedroom had no pillowcases on the pillows and another room had only one. There were no other linens to be found. I will say that this place was in an excellent location….about a 10 minute walk to Duomo and surrounding areas. So that was a plus! Gregorio was also very helpful with information about the area. I did contact him about the freezer & pillowcases and he sent someone over the next day. The place would be great if it had a really good cleaning.

A wonderful stay in Florence. The location is excellent. Parking so convenient. The Host was so attentive and responded to all our messages. The place was so clean and it looked like the photos.

The location was convenient and there were plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. The only thing missing in the kitchen was a microwave but that wasn't really a big deal.

This accommodation and location is perfect. I eloped for my wedding with only my parents and siblings in attendance. We had more than enough space to be comfortable and gather as a family in the living area. Gregorio, the host, was also incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make this stay pleasant for all of us! Would absolutely stay here again and recommend Gregorio and this property to anyone!

A great location close to the hubbub but far enough away that it was quiet. Air conditioning was much appreciated during the summer! Only downside was lugging your bags up to the third floor (no elevator).

Great location! Helpful host!

This is a great spot close to train and major attractions! The host put together a wonderful packet of restaurants and activities. He even referred us the Get Your Guide which we used throughout the trip to book all of our activities.

Very walkable from the train station but off of the noisy road. A quiet apartment with several flights of stairs to reach it. Good for families. Close to cafes, and walkable to the Duomo and The David. The host Greg is excellent and really does care!

This property was clean, very comfortable, and beautifully appointed with original works of art and antiques. It was a beautifully balanced space of the old and the new in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located very close to the train station, with the rest of Florence easily accessible on foot. The owners are both artistically talented and exceptionally gracious, and went so far as to personally lead us just down the street to the best meal we had in Florence at a local osteria!

Absolutely wonderful! My kids and I LOVED this apt! Air conditioning was amazing (in every room!), lots of beds and space, great sitting area and kitchen. A block or two from all the action in Florence - we wish we had stayed longer! The 6 flights of steps was a bit of a hike, but we didn’t mind bc the apt was so wonderful. Special thanks to our amazing hosts!!

Clean and Comfortable

We had an excellent experience with the booking process, our dealings with the property owner/manager and at the property. It is centrally located and walking distance to most monuments / attractions in Florence. The host was extremely responsive to questions, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
