Silent, fantastic cottage by lake, private area, sauna and boat Minttu

Summary:

Your cottage is located by a very quiet clear watered lake deep in Finnish forest. This is a perfect place to go to nature, hike, meditate, rest, bird watching, mushroom picking, fishing, berry picking, walking in forests or just to get to know local countryside near Tampere. There is outdoor toilet, easy electric sauna, well equipped kitchen with microwave. Sauna is electric and very easy to use. You can also bring your pet to this cottage.



The Space:

Water is coming from lake Niemijärvi, drinking water is recommended to bring with you.

The location of this cottage is really rural and in the middle of wild Finnish nature.



EQUIPMENT

The cottage has electric heating. The fireplace brings the atmosphere and extra warmth. The cottage also has a working Wi-Fi connection.



BEDROOMS

There are two bedrooms in the cottage. One has a 160 cm wide double bed and the other has a 120 cm wide bed.

There is also a sofa bed for 2 people.

If you need bed linen and towels, you can rent them separately from us at 10 e / person / stay



KITCHEN AND BBQ

The kitchen has cooking utensils, a dining table and tableware for 6 people. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer box. Water to the cottage comes from own well, it is fresh and suitable for drinking and cooking.



The terrace has a gas bbq.



SAUNA, SHOWER AND WC

The cottage has a rapidly warming electric sauna, and the sauna room has a shower. Outside there is an ecological outside toilet.



SURROUNDINGS

Next to the cottage is a small terrace with seating. From there you can admire the pine forest and the lake landscape. There is a private pier under the slope, where you can take a dip in the lake.

You have a rowing boat available, and on request we also provide boating vests (please tell us the size you need).



FISHING

If you want to fish and you are 18-64 years old, you have to pay a state fisheries management fee. Example prices: 6 e / 1 day, 15 e / 7 day. The payment can be made most conveniently in the online shop from Eräluvat. You can also rent a quiet electric outboard motor for 15 euros per day.



PETS

Pets are welcome at this cottage!

Please inform about pets when booking. Be sure to clean the animals' hairs from the cottage and furniture before you leave, and clean the yard from the garbage.

Make sure that pets do not cause injury. You will be responsible for damages in both the cottage and the cottage environment.



LINEN AND TOWELS

We are happy to provide you with bed linen and towels for 10 e fee / person / stay.



FINAL CLEANING

You can order final cleaning in advance or during your stay. The final cleaning price is 60 €. If you do the cleaning yourself, the cottage has the necessary cleaning equipment and materials. Clean up on the day of departure!



If you order a final cleaning, you still should do this:

• Wash the dishes and put them in place

• Clean the barbecue

• Collect bottles and cans in the bag

• move the furniture in place

• Leave the bed linen on top of the bed

• Take away the food items you brought

• If you have pets, clean the hair and clean up the waste



If you do the final cleaning yourself, do the following:

• clean mats outdoor

• Wipe the floors with a damp mop

• Wipe the tables and levels with a damp cloth

• Ventilate the bedding outdoors

• wash toilet and sauna

• Take the trash to the waste point



In lake Niemijärvi there is just 5 other cottages, there is no noisy motorboats and we have tried to keep the place very calm. Birds and other wildlife is included to the package. We can also provide an electric motor for you if you like one.



To reach this cottage you will need a car, the road to the cottage is small road. Nature is wild and it is recommended to use outdoor clothing when hiking.



Guest Access:

The cottage is located in Orivesi, about 70 km from Tampere. Drive less than 1 hour from Tampere and 1.5 hours to Jyväskylä. To get to the cottage, you need a car. Parking space next to the cottage.

Other Things to Note:

The cottage is best suited for adults who are able to move normally in challenging nature. We recommend that you pack outdoor shoes, warm and rainy clothing suitable for the cottage life, and rubber boots.
