Im Inneren der Unterkunft verfügt das große Wohnzimmer über eine gemütliche Fensterbank, von der aus man sowohl das geschäftige Stadtzentrum von Keswick als auch den wunderschönen Blick auf die Berggipfel genießen kann. Im gesamten Haus gibt es kostenloses WLAN, und im Wohnzimmer stehen ein Smart-TV, ein DVD-Player und eine iPod-Dockingstation zur Verfügung.

Die Wohnküche verfügt außerdem über ein Sofa, einen Flachbildfernseher und einen ausziehbaren Esstisch für sechs Personen. Der Küchenbereich ist mit allem ausgestattet, was du für einen perfekten Selbstversorger-Urlaub brauchst: Cerankochfeld, Backofen, Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine und viel Stauraum in den Schränken.

Die drei Schlafzimmer befinden sich alle im zweiten Stock. Das Hauptschlafzimmer hat ein Kingsize-Bett, es gibt ein zweites Doppelzimmer mit einem kleinen Doppelbett und ein geräumiges Zweibettzimmer. Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden gestellt.

Das Familienbadezimmer befindet sich im zweiten Stock und verfügt über eine Badewanne mit Duscharmatur.

Die Unterkunft ist doppelt verglast und verfügt über eine Gaszentralheizung, sodass es in den Wintermonaten warm und gemütlich ist. Hinter dem Haus gibt es einen privaten Parkplatz. Der Zugang erfolgt über eine Treppe (an der Rückseite des Gebäudes), die zur Eingangstür im ersten Stock führt.

Great Flat

Lovely and spacious with everything you need right in the centre with the bonus of a parking space. There was an issue with the wi-fi which had a solution put in place before we arrived and was resolved during our stay. Would definitely stay here again. Just be careful of the top steps when heading up to the flat entrance they are slightly deeper than the others.

Lovely roomy property with well equipped kitchen. Televisions in both the dining room and sitting room. The only negative point was the two very high steps on the stair case leading to the entrance of the building. I struggled with them but I am 80 nowAnother nice week in one of our favourite holiday places.

We have stayed at this property quite a few times, and as always it is clean, tidy and comfortable with a car parking space too, and within easy reach of the town centre as well as the supermarket and bus station. Would highly recommend.

This is the 2nd tie we have stayed, and we’re very happy with the experience. The location is great. The steps up to the apartment would mean I wouldn’t recommend it to someone with mobility issues.

Few days in Keswick

Large clean two story apartment above commercial stores in downtown Keswick. Easy access from highways and to all areas and scenic drives in the lake district. Includes one parking spot great central place to see all of the lake district.

Great place to stay

Easy to book a last minute getaway over the phone. Shortly after payment we received an email confirming the booking and providing full details of the property, key safe number, location etc. The property is very spacious, well-equipped, comfortable and quiet. Parking space in Keswick a great bonus, and location is very central, just a couple of minutes walk away from the centre of town. We would certainly stay here again next time we visit the lake District, and would recommend the property to family and friends. Thank you.

October break

We found the property to be very clean and well equipped for our needs. Allocated parking and proximity to supermarket and buses was very convenient. Mention should be made about the access to the property as the top two steps are quite high and care should be taken especially by those in our age group - over 70. Throughly enjoyed our stay.

Alban Rise

An excellent property. The location was perfect being just off of the main shopping area and provided easy access to places of interest outside of the town. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was spacious and comfortable. My only negative was the mattress which I found uncomfortable, otherwise the letting deserved a 5 star in every area.

Great property and location.

Stay for 1 week and had no complaints. Very clean, tidy and fitted accommodation. Kitchen has everything you need with plenty of space to relax. Comfortable sleeping with handy black out blinds. Lovely stay in Keswick

Apartment was great, clean and spacious which was very useful for us as a family of 5 with two teenagers. Fantastic location right in the heart of Keswick with everything on the doorstep. We particularly enjoyed a trip the Theatre on the Lake and mountain biking at Whinlatter forest. Proximity to Derwent water was a bonus too. Access via back stairs not an issue for us but worth bearing in mind if you have mobility issues. Would thoroughly recommend.

Comfortable flat in a perfect location

While other reviewers have commented on the entrance in the rear courtyard, having previously rented another flat in this row we knew what to expect and were not put off. The flat itself is comfortable and the locaton could not be better for the views out of the windows and the convenience for shops, restaurants etc after a long day walking. Although after a sunny day it was uncomfortably hot in the front bedrooms.

Lovely interior but exterior is not

The interior of the property was very spacious and well equipped, and the location was good being minutes from the shops, bars and restaurants in Keswick, as well as being within walking distance of the lake. Other reviews have mentioned this - there are 15 quite steep exterior metal steps up to the property which is on the first floor, which should perhaps be made clearer in the description. Also, the entrance steps are in essentially in an alleyway which was full of rubbish from the restaurants on the ground floor - apparently the week we stayed there was a problem with the bin collections, but despite this, there was rubbish all over the alleyway which remained throughout the week - it didn't give a very good first impression of the property and wasn't great to come home to every evening. Once inside, however, we had no issues.

Perfect in every way

This place is a cracker. Central, beautifully furnished, well stocked. Fabulous sofa with lots of living space. Very clean and a fantastic De Longhi coffee machine (uses ground coffee). Warm and welcoming. The only downside is not the apartment but the outside steps in the dark so leave the porch light on if you are going out at night.

An excellent property

Alban Rise is the best of many places is Keswick we have rented over the last decade and more. Comfortable, clean, very spacious, centrally located and with a generously sized dedicated parking bay. Worth noting that it is a 1st floor flat and the stairs from the car park contain one steep step that would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues

Had a great time, great flat and location, very clean and comfy, only issue we had was the outside stairs leading to the flat, the top two stairs were high, and was caught out a couple of times.
