Stepping inside the cottage you have a spacious living room with a dining table for four, as well as a sofa and armchairs around the TV with a DVD player. There are patio doors leading out to the well-maintained landscaped garden, which is shared with the owners who live next door. You have your own private patio with a seating area, so that you can enjoy drinks or meals outside in the sunshine with a large lawn beside a willow tree and colourful flower beds to look out onto. There is a well-presented double bedroom with a comfortable bed as well as plenty of storage for your belongings, with an en-suite shower room. The fitted kitchen includes a countertop oven with a two-ring hob, as well as a microwave, kettle, and toaster amongst other essential appliances. So you have the option to create all your favourite meals for two. The property is complete with a toilet room just off the hallway.

It only takes around 15 minutes to walk into the town centre. From here you can take a ride on the famous heritage steam train to Grosmont, Goathland, Aidensfield in the classic TV series Heartbeat, and the seaside town of Whitby, where you can climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey.
