Of all the places we’ve stayed in, this place Bay Tree Cottage was the most organized and well appointed VRBO that we have ever seen! Just a wonderful spot The Red Lion Pub is a wonderful spot as well

The cottage was beautifully clean and tidy, kitchen very well equipped and instructions included for all the gadgets. Definitely recommend as a lovely peaceful place to stay and explore the local area.

Fantastic cottage in a tranquil location. We enjoyed being in the countryside with the views and the local pub. Julie the host could not be more friendly or accommodating. The property is well equipped but still oozing with cottage charm. Its so good this was our second visit.

Another wonderful stay. This house is beautifully furnished and comfortable. The location is so peaceful and the back garden is perfect for yoga, reading and simply relaxing. The birds and butterflies around the garden were a real highlight. Julie was the perfect host, really helpful and easy to communicate with and the place was spotless. I would highly recommend this accommodation. There is a great country pub a few doors away and a wonderful farm shop The Red Barn five minutes drive away. Highly recommended

This is an exceptional property. It is so well furnished and very homely. I stepped in and felt right at home. There was a lovely welcome basket. The location is really peaceful and the back garden and surrounding views are absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend this property and have booked to stay again later in the year. Julie was a brilliant host and everything was exceptionally well organised.

This is such a lovely property. Really nice inside with everything you need including a great kitchen, comfy beds and modern bathrooms. The gardens were such a great place to relax on a sunny day.Check in was very easy and good communication from the host. Julie sent all the required info and responded to any questions very quickly.We had a very nice long weekend and hope to come back one day.

Weekend get away

We booked the cottage looking for a getaway brake, somewhere quiet with good walks around and pub for lunch close by, and we were not disappointed. The cottage is lovely, it was every thing we where looking for and more, we had good communication with he host. It really was 5stars, and we will be looking to go back again.

Lovely Cottage in Nice Village

We spent a very pleasant 9 nights at Bay tree cottage. Although well positioned to access the Motorway it is in a very peaceful location. The facilities provided are all of a high quality and the host could not be more helpful when asked questions. We would stay there anytime time we visit family in the area

Peace and tranquility in gorgeous English countryside

The cottage was everything that was promised, and more. We enjoyed tea, or a glass if wine, at the garden table overlooking spectacular countryside, with only the bleating of lambs and the chirping of birds to break the silence. Julie is a wonderful host, and very responsive to questions. We look forward to returning in the future.

Lovely cottage, wonderful host

Absolutely perfect cottage for our stay while attending the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Julie is an amazing host, very friendly and very quick to respond to any questions and offer recommendations. She even knew to wish us (American travelers) a happy July 4th, which was extremely thoughtful. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we could need. Her garden is just lovely and looks out over rolling hills dotted with little sheep. A truly idyllic landscape. We were absolutely delighted with our stay. A definite 5 star experience.

Perfect Stay. Highly recommended

This is a wonderful property with a fantastic view of the countryside, off street parking, and super clean.We visited Cambridge for a punting tour and the Warner Brothers Harry Potter tour, and East Haddon is situated perfectly between them, an hour or so drive to each location. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. There is a good sized refrigerator/freezer. Tesco Express is about a 10 minute drive, and we were able to get fresh fruit, vegetables, and other items for breakfast and dinner, and full size grocery stores are just a little further away.Check in and check out was a breeze, and Julie, our host, made sure we had everything we needed. A few pubs are in the area. One is within walking distance. This property is very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended.

Superb cottage in a beautiful village

This was our second stay at this cottage, so we clearly loved it the first time! Our second visit was every bit as enjoyable. The cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished, and so comfortable. The kitchen truly is fully equipped with cooking utensils, pans, and a few spices etc. The dishes are beautiful sets of crockery just as you might have in your own home make dining in a very pleasant option. Host Julie provides a few provisions to get you started too, such as tea, coffee and sugar, plus a few other items. She includes lots of really thoughtful touches inside and outside the home to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Communications are easy and very quick. We fully expect to return again when we need to be in the area! The village and surrounding area are just delightful - gorgeous scenery right outside your door, a short walk to the Red Lion for breakfast, dinner or drinks, and so peaceful.

Perfect getaway, business stay...cannot wait to return

Host was gracious and available. We had all the comforts of home at the same time as living in a luxurious house with glorious gardens and views. We were working in Northampton during the day and retreating to East Haddon in the evenings. We extended our stay because we loved being here so much! We will be back!

Perfect stay

Everything about the stay was fantastic. Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The photos on the website looked lovely but if anything the reality is even better. Everything you could possibly need is provided and the garden is a beautiful, peaceful place to sit and relax. If you're looking for a top quality cottage in Northamptonshire, book this one, you won't regret it. If we return to the area I would book Bay Tree Cottage again without hesitation.

The best holiday rental ever!

We absolutely loved Julie’s house. We’ve stayed in a lot of private holiday rentals and are often disappointed, but not this time. The house is beautiful and furnished so tastefully. It was immaculate, and everything we needed had been thought of - everything from washing up liquid to bbq supplies, salt, pepper, coffee, cling film - and of course the welcome basket including a much appreciated bottle of wine. We really couldn’t fault it. We enjoyed the garden and the peaceful view of the farmland - we’re just sorry we couldn’t stay longer!

Julie’s cottage is immaculate, beautiful furnishings and decor, extremely comfortable, everything you could wish for.The setting, overlooking countryside from the rear garden is idyllic, and In easy reach of places of interest, including Althorp. Julie is a charming host. The welcome pack for our arrival was much appreciated. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage for a wonderful holiday.

Hidden gem

My stay at Bay Tree Cottage was one of the nicest holidays I have been on. Wonderful property, clean, comfortable, brilliantly equipped with everything you could ever hope for and it really did feel like home. Quiet and peaceful, with a fantastic view of the open countryside from the back garden. The managers were just lovely and could not have been more help or more friendly. I will definitely be looking to return, but with the whole family next time!
