Beach House -

The name says it all. This Beach House is perfectly located on the pristine Miramar Beach and offers spectacular views as well as easy beach access right out the back door. Upon entering the home you will find the main living area which offers a view of the emerald colored waters of the Gulf of Mexico though the wall of glass doors that lead out to a large balcony with plenty of outdoor seating for your entire party. On the same floor you will also find two full kitchens which have beautiful granite counters and a breakfast bar. The dining room is also on the first floor and has stunning views of the water.

The second floor features four of the six bedrooms. Two of these are Gulf Front Master Suites that each boast King beds, private bathrooms, and private balconies. The other two bedrooms on this floor have two queen beds and two full beds, while both rooms feature a full en suite bathroom.

The third floor has two more guest suites that have a King size bed and a Queen size bed. The King bedroom has a private bathroom and a gulf view while the queen has it's own full bathroom as well. You will also find another living area on this level and a nook with two twin beds and a shared half bathroom.

First Floor: Living Room with Patio Access, Two Kitchens, Dining, Two Powder Rooms, Laundry.

Second Floor: King Bedroom with Walk-In Shower and Balcony Access, King Bedroom with Walk-In Shower and Balcony Access, Bedroom with Two Queens and Walk-In Shower, Bedroom with Two Fulls and Tub/Shower Combo.

Third Floor: Bonus Den with Queen Sleeper Sofa and Balcony Access, King Bedroom with Walk-In Shower and Balcony Access, Queen Bedroom with Walk-In Shower, Nook with Two Twin Beds, Powder Room.

Great house!!

This house is the perfect location for vacation! Right on the beach and very close to other fun activities in Destin! The house is very cute and organized. The double kitchen is very useful when you have many individuals in the same house. There are plenty of bedrooms with very nice bathrooms. We loved our stay here!

Great location

5 star location. 3 star house. Great management team. Very responsive. House needs TLC and a. deep clean. Beds were comfortable but pillows are terrible. Nice gas grill and back deck!

Beach fun

Stayed with our grown children and their families. House had plenty of sleeping spaces and private baths. Linens and towels were excellent. We would stay again. The only thing I would suggest is the need for general maintenance. Fresh paint in some of the rooms. Deck repair. Overall lovely home.

Absolutely perfect!

The house was gorgeous, well decorated and very comfortable. Two kitchens made things so much easier; one as the bar area and drink refrigerator, the other for food prep and storage. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of plates, utensils, pots, pans, etc. All in our party agreed the beds and furniture were very comfortable. Who wouldnt love a house wirh a private bathroom in every bedroom! The deck is large with plenty of seating and 2 tables and propane grill. The best part was that we were literally 15 steps from the Beach! Our party of 5 couples all raved about the place and agreed that it was the best of any we have stayed in for our annual group trip.

Fantastic Property!!!

The BEACH HOUSE was fantastic!! We were extremely skeptical based on the recent reviews and really worried about what we were walking in to, but upon arrival we were blown away. The house has been completely updated and is even nicer than the pictures. All of the previous negative reviews were complete non-issues for us. We had three families for the week and had plenty of room to spare. The proximity to the beach cannot be beat. Literally steps away. Location was also ideal. Close enough to all the amenities of Destin but also private enough that we didn't have to mess with the crowds on the public beaches down the way. All in all a great trip. I would absolutely rent this property again.

Emerald Beauty

We stay in Destin a lot. We have tried several beach houses. But this one was the BEST. Great owner, great hospitality. Very clean. Right on the beach with amazing views. Actually, the best part about this house is not beach but it's extremely efficient layout. 20 people can easily sleep in this house with easy access to bathrooms. There are two living rooms on the main level which is great. We will be back for sure. No wonder this house is so popular now. I definitely recommend this and book well in advance as its tough to find a booking now.

Vacation stay for the entire family

Had low water pressure in the kitchen and someone came within 2 days. I feel like for the size the kitchen could have been stocked a little better. Had a mouse in the kitchen and problems with roaches. Kitchen table was very sticky when we checked in and feel like it could have used a deep cleaning. Still sandy feeling on floor and around all baseboards could used a good vacuuming.

Great Location

Great location and plenty of room for a large group. Beds comfortable. Great layout of property. Liked full kitchen on one side and used the kitchen for bar set up. Property needs a little TLC. A patio lounge chair was ripped (just needs to be removed…plenty of chairs on patio).Random nails in walls in 2nd floor master bedroom (missing artwork?). Low water pressure in at least one of the showers. One of the master bedrooms had what looked to be water damage on ceiling that needs to be repainted. Lots of food crumbs between couch seat cushions when we arrived. Looks like it had not been cleaned out in a while. Overall, great property…we would consider staying here again.

Worst Property in 28 Yrs

I have never written a review. I have been to this area for 28 yrs for a golf trip. This, by far, was the most run down property I have ever rented. There was mold everywhere and dirty dirty dirty. The structure is so bad the floors are all warped. There was water damage so bad the ceiling was falling apart. One bathroom truly had a wall/sheetrock falling literally apart. There was tons of trash under the deck from previous tenants. The path to the beach was overgrown. Biggest roach I have ever seen in the kitchen. They should be ashamed of renting this property like this.

Needs lot of work

The house has plenty of bedrooms and beds to accommodate a large family and good location for food ordering and dining out. However the dryer did not work. The grill did not work properly. The sliding glass doors were almost impossible to move and go out to the patio to the beach. There was a broken chair on the patio along with the broken handle that went to a sliding door. Upon arrival one bedroom had sand in the sheets and had to be replaced. We messaged about the dryer not working and a broken vent in a bathroom. These issues were never even checked until two days prior to our departure date and that was after contacting the management again and expressing our displeasure about being ignored. The smoke detectors didn't have batteries. There was not a regular coffee pot so we had to buy one for the week.

Pros’s: Awesome beach location. Probably the best we have had over the years. Beach was not crowded, and just a few steps off the back porch. The beach service was awesome. The location is close to everything so no long distance to travel to eat & shop. The beds were extremely comfortable. The layout is great and our large group never felt cramped CONS: This home was VERY dirty & in dire need of updating. The counters in the bar area were grimy and sticky. The tile is cracked through out the downstairs. None of the glass throughout the house looked like it had been cleaned in awhile. One of the bed sheets were definitely not changed and one was questionable. All of the bathroom tubs/showers had hair in them, there was a broken necklace left on a nightstand from prior guest, sliding glass door mirrors upstairs were COVERED in fingerprints. One of the spikes on the stair railing kept falling off. The sliding glass doors to the porch were EXTREMELY hard to open, and the handle on one door was completely broken off on the outside. There was splattered ketchup on kitchen cabinet by the trash can. All of the kitchen cabinets were sticky/grimy. The rug in the dining room had not been vacuumed at all as there was food/crumbs all over it. We saw three HUGE palmetto bugs there and two actual roaches during our stay. There was urine around two of the toilets. I called Ocean Reef who we rented through and they did respond promptly by sending a cleaning crew, and pest control. However This home needs a DEEP cleaning with some intense scrubbing. We could have lived with the need for updating had the home been clean. Ocean Reef gave us a discount on our stay which I very much appreciated. I felt they were fair and responsive. I will definitely book through them again. Bottom line: If this home were cleaned up and upgraded I would absolutely book again as it has all the right ingredients....but not until then.

Totally disappointing and disgusting

Roach infested in kitchen, living area, bedroom where the baby slept, had to throw out food on counter due to roaches, wash silverware in drawer where another roach was, have pictures to send 2 days for hours no water in half of house. Cracked tiles on floor, one raised became a tripping spot. Back door handle broke off twice, son fixed twice, stained ceiling in kitchen, track on sliding doors were black and could hardly get door open, bought wd40 and still a problem. Cool air vents disgusting rust and dirt, furniture falling apart, shower head barely flowing from a bathroom, beach shower barely any water flowing. I rented this unit a year ago, pics looked beautiful. My husband and I brought our 4 sons and families as we have not been together for 5 years. I wanted a beautiful place to celebrate with them. Some came by plane and some by car. The pictures do not portray the property as it is now. We took pictures and will be sending them and a letter with all the issues regarding this property. The location to the beach was perfect, but unfortunately the infestation of roaches, the lack of water issues and the terrible condition of the property took away from this memorable vacation for us. Roach infestation is totally unacceptable to us. We tolerated it due to the fact where was 18 of us going to go and we did not want to disappoint the grandchildren. My pictures and letter detailing everything will be sent via mail. The maintenance dept has the info on the water problems. I will say they responded very quickly .

We had 13 people which is perfect for this house everyone gets there own room that way. Everyone loved the accommodations we had a few hiccups but property manager worked with us.

Right on the beach!

We had two families and had a wonderful week at the property. Place was clean and centrally located. Would rent again.

Amazing

This was by far the best vacation house we have ever stayed in. Everything was incredible . The house was very clean and perfectly located for all of our family. We will definitely be staying here again.

Nice property, great location!

The house was beautiful and just moments from the beautiful beaches! Location was great for restaurants. The owners do need to do some work on the property. There is some very noticeable mold and mildew in most of the bathrooms. Otherwise the property had everything you would need for your stay. Lots of room for our family reunion.
