Upper Foredecks is a welcoming 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom retreat in the heart of Salcombe â situated on Fore Street, with direct access to Salcombe's amenities, shops, restaurants, and the estuary.
Set across the upper two floors with a modern garden room, this light-filled home offers panoramic views of the Salcombe Estuary and a private terraced garden ideal for outdoor dining and soaking up the coastal scenery.
Inside, youâll find a spacious open-plan living space, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, and three elegant bedrooms â including one nestled in the garden studio, complete with its own ensuite.
The main bedroom boasts estuary views, while the garden room also features a spa-style sauna and access to the hot tub on the top deck (included for full-week bookings; optional extra for short stays).
The Space
Living Space (Second Floor)
The heart of the home is a bright, open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. A large corner sofa, TV, DVD player and Xbox make the lounge perfect for relaxing after a day on the water. The dining area features a generous solid wood table for sociable meals, and the breakfast bar with stools is a great spot for morning coffee or evening wine.
Kitchen (Second Floor)
The light and spacious kitchen is fully equipped with a range cooker, American-style fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave and toaster. From here, step straight out to the terraced garden for alfresco dining.
Terraced Garden & Outdoor Space
This private, multi-level garden is a real gem. The top deck offers breathtaking views across the Salcombe Estuary â perfect for sunset drinks or BBQ evenings. Dine alfresco at the outdoor table, soak in the hot tub (included for full-week bookings and an optional extra for short breaks), or unwind in the sauna located in the garden studio.

Main Bedroom â Double bed, ensuite bathroom, wardrobes, TV, and stunning estuary views.
Twin Room â Two single beds, chest of drawers, Velux window with garden views.
Garden Room (Top of the Garden Terrace)
Double Bedroom â Comfortable double futon style bed and ensuite shower room. Ideal for added privacy, with morning views over the estuary.
All bed linen and towels are included (please bring your own beach towels).
Bathrooms & Toilets
Ensuite bathroom in the main bedroom with bath, toilet, basin and heated towel rail.
Second floor shower room â Modern walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail. Separate toilet with small basin.
Garden studio shower room â Ideal for spa use or guests in the garden room.
Parking & Access
While there's no on-site parking (due to the central location), two parking permits are included for the Salcombe long-stay car park (approx. 10 mins walk). Youâre welcome to unload outside the house on arrival.
Perfect for families, couples or friends, Upper Foredecks sleeps up to 6 guests, welcomes two well-behaved dogs, and makes a wonderful base for a remarkable Salcombe stay.
Other Things to Note:
1) Wifi access throughout this property
2) No smoking, vaping, or candles are permitted inside, on the terraced garden area or in close vicinity to the building
3) There is no provision for the charging of electric vehicles or electric bikes. There are public EV car charging points available locally which we can direct you to.
4) All bed linen and towels are included, excluding beach towels.
5) The sauna is included for all bookings. The hot tub is included for all stays longer than a week and is an optional extra of ÂŁ250 for shorter stays.
6) Two well behaved dogs are permitted at this holiday home, subject to our simple dog rules and a small additional charge.
7) Due to the accommodation being set over three floors, it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
8) All stays include access to 2 permits for the long stay car park in Salcombe.
