This spacious family home is situated in an ideal position within the pretty village of Croyde, a haven for surfers, beachgoers and dog walkers alike. A superb property for family holidays to the North Devon coast, this cottage provides an abundance of social spaces, beautiful gardens and comfortable accommodation in a wonderful location.
The property is nestled in a quieter part of the village, down a private road, yet is still less than a mile from the famous beach. The interior is light and bright, with classic furniture and comfortable furnishings. Step down into the kitchen, which has been thoughtfully laid out for creating family meals after a day on the beach, which you can enjoy at the dining table or in the separate lounge/diner before relaxing all together on the sofas. A ground-floor bedroom and WC are handy for those who are less mobile. Step into the spacious entrance hall with a sunroom just off, and take the stairs to the first floor where there are three good-sized bedrooms and a family bathroom. The back garden is the perfect spot for enjoying a BBQ or soaking up the sunshine, with a storage area for surfboards and other outdoor gear if you fancy trying out the world-famous waves, this area is so peaceful and totally enclosed for your pets. There is also a decked area with plenty of seating, and a pleasant summer house for a quiet cup of tea.
Located around 300 metres from the centre of the village, the cottage has a range of bars and cafes practically on its doorstep. The beach is less than a mile away; backed by dunes, there are a remarkable number of scenic spots to watch the surfers ride the waves or enjoy a drink whilst the sun slips below the horizon. Explore the area further by setting off on breathtaking walks on the South West Coast Path which is 1 mile from the cottage; the walk around Baggy Point to Woolacombe (6 miles) is especially picturesque.
